Illustrator won't open more than one file at a time.
I have version 21.1.0 (64 bit) running on Windows 10 (more system details in attached png). I am not able to open more than one file at a time. What happens:
- I open a file.
- I double click to open another AI file (other file opening methods have same results).
- Nothing happens. One file remains open. I might see the spinner mouse for a sec but the second file never opens.
- If I try to close the first file, leaving Illustrator open, and open a new file, Illustrator becomes unresponsive and I have to close it via the Task Manager.

FILE Corruption - Illustrator will not open AI files. Adobe CC/Windows 10.
just trying to open AI files to work in ILLUSTRATOR. POS won't open. After reboot, won't open. How was the subscription model supposed to be better?

Can’t access my Creative Cloud file
Following this new year and updates, my Broward County Public School account subscription suspended and I had to re-sign in. All of my files that i saved in creative cloud are gone and did not load with time. There were many important projects in illustrator. I am on a Thinkvision PC. With Illustrator 2025. My email linked to the account is 0615146736@my.browardschools.com There's only one file that I just made.

Some CC Library linked assets cannot be found -- all files with renamed linked assets are damaged and this disruptive messages interferes
I've renamed CC library assets. Now, all Illustrator files that use these assets are broken.
When such a file is opened, I get constant messages that say "Some CC Library linked assets cannot be found. Click Replace to relink assets using the Links panel." As I try to relink, I the message again and again, preventing me from working the file. Also, when I choose replace, my CC libraries flatten and I can't search or navigate to the assets. Problem mit verknüpften Bildern in platzierten Illustrator-Dateien seit Update 30.2.1
Seit dem Update von Adobe Illustrator auf Version 30.2.1 tritt ein Problem im Umgang mit platzierten Verknüpfungen auf, das zuvor nicht vorhanden war.
Beschreibung des Problems:
Wenn in einer Illustrator-Datei ein Bild platziert und als Verknüpfung (nicht eingebettet) eingefügt wird und diese Illustrator-Datei anschließend wiederum in eine zweite Illustrator-Datei platziert oder eingebettet wird, erscheint das verknüpfte Bild aus der ersten Datei in der zweiten Datei nicht mehr.
Das Bildfeld bleibt leer, obwohl die Verknüpfung korrekt vorhanden ist.
Erwartetes Verhalten (wie in früheren Versionen):

All my symbols gets displaced all the times
Whenever I make symbols for sock label logo, these symbols get randomly gets displaced and moved to another location on the art board by itself. the positioning is completely random and no logic. It's been like this since Illustrator 2025. what is going on???
Please see attached for example of what I mean random displacement of symbols, all the symbol object have been moved randomly to top right. Only way to fix is to break the symbols and manually move these objects back to where I intended to place. This is a must fix bug. please help!!!!MacOS 26.2 Illustrator…

When selecting all objects, there will be very severe lag, and even software crashes.
When I select all the objects, if there are many objects, it will cause the software to crash.

Illustrator 2022 DOES NOT OPEN.
This new Illustrator update DOES NOT WORK. Just installed the new 2022 update yesterday 11/01, and it worked for half the day, and in the second half, the app refused to open. Tried again this morning 11/02, and there was a small update to Illustrator, so in hopes of fixing the issue from yesterday, I installed the update, and guess what, still broken. 2 votesThis is embarrassing and incredibly sad to hear. I can’t imagine to be cut off a my main tool when I need it.
I guess the only option you can try is to clean all the traces of previous versions installed with the Cleaner Tool (https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html), install 2021 version and hope it work.
So sorry it happened, and I wish I could do more.

アセットの書き出しができない
Win10のイラレcc2021で、アセットの書き出しパネルに画像をドラッグしても読み込まず、何も登録されない。
普段であれば複数選択したものをドラッグするとその複数分読み込み登録されるのだが、まったく一つも読み込まない。

Second line of type (point and area) is picking up the style of the first line when pasting plain text
New to 25.3.1 update, MacOS 11.4. When there are two lines in a point or area type object separated by a return, selecting the entire second line (formatted differently from the first line) and pasting in plain text (copied from a Finder filename) is now picking up the formatting from the first line instead of retaining the formatting from the existing line, as if there were an invisible return character from the first line, or as if it were a continuation of the first line. This is contrary to AI behavior since forever.

Shortcut keys not shown or working for items in Object menu and in other menus
Many but not all shortcut keys are not shown in the Object menu or operate as in previous version! This is a major setback for my type of work. Can't quickly Group/Ungroup, Zoom, UNDO, Copy, Paste, change stacking order, other functions. Browsing the menus shows only a few shortcut keys. Same in all workspaces. Please put them back as in the previous version!

O meu adobe Ilustrator, esta com erro de travamento. principalmente quando vai salvar um arquivo., le trava e fecha. Já não sei mais o que fazer. Esse problema começou depois da atualiazação.

Text becomes impossible to edit after several minutes of having the program open
Working on macOS Mojave 10.14.5 and Illustrator 23.0.4.
After working in the program for a few minutes, transform controls no longer appear around text boxes when selected (show transform controls does not fix the issue). Text attributes are then buggy when applied (tracking will not apply to selected word, can't change font). Shortly after, I can no longer select text boxes at all.
I'm a graphic designer and this issue is hurting my productivity greatly. Please provide a solution!

No snap to artboard
Snap to artboard not working with smart guides on (or with any other form of snap on) tried on both existing and new files - no snap no feedback of cursor - using drawing tools pen or rectangle.

Tool Options Palettes Absent On Launch
The tool options palettes (those you select from the Window menu) are occasionally absent on launch. Not every time. Not even most times. It seems to occur in waves; sometimes more frequent, sometimes less frequent. Lately, it's been a near daily occurrence.
Choosing the palettes in the Window menu when this happens does nothing.
I have the palettes grouped in a single column, but it seems to make no difference whether they're grouped or spread out. Likewise it makes no difference if they're on my primary or secondary monitor.
Currently installed version: 23.0.3

Illustrator 23.0.2 (64bit) and Windows 10 Versions 1809 OS Build 17763.379
This has happened numerous times over the past few months.
I try to create a new custom Adobe Color Theme in Illustrator. I am not able to do so and am given the error message:
"saving colors to adobe is disabled please contact your IT administrator"
I have tried restarting the program and signing out and signing back into my Adobe Creative Cloud but the problem remains.

Selecting pen lines (vectors) & anchor points is really hard after updating to newest version of CC 2019.
I recently updated my OS to Sierra & with that my CC updated to 2019 23.0.2. Ever since, it takes several tries to select a line or an anchor point using the direct select or group select tool & to remove points using the Add/delete anchor tools. The scissors tool also can't seem to find the line to create a point either. It is extremely frustrating & slows down drawing a lot! It seems like the lines/points that we are looking at, are not in the same place code-wise maybe? Something is not lining up. PLEASE fix quickly!
