Illustrator will not start. Adobe Illustrator quit unexpectedly during the previous launch....Run Diagnostics or Launch Ilustrator
Illustrator was working fine for the last year on this computer and yesterday decided it did not want to start anymore. All other adobe products open just fine, except illustrator. I've been searching for the last hour for answers and nothing. What gives adobe.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, adobe cc cleaner, deleted prefs, and still keeps crashing.
Here's what happens:
1. Click on launch Illustor from Creative Cloud app. The Creative cloud app blinks for a second as if its trying to open illustrator but nothing.
2. Click on Launch again. Popup - Adobe Illustrator quit unexpectedly....Click Run Diagnostics or Launch Illustrator.
3. I've tried both. Same result, get a pop up saying Adobe illustrator CC 2017 has stopped working.
Nothing works. Very frustrating!
Here is the error from Visual Studio when hitting the debug button:

i am running on a MacBook Pro, 10.11.6. yesterday i update to the 2018 cc suite. illustrator will open. when i go to create a new document or open an existing document it closes. i have set my printer in the apple preferences to be the adobe pdf and that has not worked.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Can you try to open Illustrator after setting your default printer as Adobe PDF.
