SVG Export
AI 22.1. 64-bit Windows 10
The SVG export is much better in this new version of AI. However, on some art boards it is still missing some components. However, if I select the art board, then choose Save As SVG, it displays the components, but it is a much larger file. I will upload this AI file, which has 12 art boards. It is Art Board #11 that is not exporting properly when I press Ctrl+Alt+E. This image has 6 green bars, but 3 of those bars are not showing up in the image. Everything else seems to be correct.…3 votesWe have the fix available in the latest release. Illustrator CC 2018 (Mac) error message after quitting program
Every time I quit Illustrator CC 2018 (Mac) I get an error message. See attached file.

Deleting Successive Artboards
If you have a list of artboards and try and delete several of them in a row, deleting one will deselect the list. This is not a major issue in most cases, but it is a nuisance when having to quickly delete 40 or more artboards; it doubles the number of commands that need to be inputted before reaching the same result.

CC2014 No artboard names (macOS Sierra - 10.12)
When using Illustrator CC2014 with macOS Sierra (10.12.6) no artboard names appear. Can this bug be rectified please?
3 voteswe can’t reproduce the issue on the latest version of Illustrator. CC 2014 was not supported on 10.12 we advise an upgrade.

Distorted curve line when saving an SVG
Hello, when we save from AI/EPS to SVG file, the 'f' edge path of the logo automatically becomes out of shape. We tried different colors and it works fine. This issue only happen on white SVG. Please help.
2 votesIncrease Decimal Places value in Export As / Save As (under More Options) to raise the precision. By default it’s too low, and if your graphics is rather small, it can cause problems like this.

Illustrator Version 28.7.1 - xmpfile does not have a constructor ( using Extendscript with Illustrator )
OS: macOS Sonoma 14.6.1 (23G93)
Illustrator version 28.7.1Prior to this update I have been able through extendscript to read XMP data from a file. After the update I get an error:
"XMPfile does not have a constructor".
on the line of code:
var xmpf = new XMPFile(.........Reverting to the prior version resolves the issue.

Application name in dialogue box contains strange character
Illustrator version 27.6 shows strange characters in dialogue box.
The app name is $$$/GeneralStr/196=Adobe Illustrator.

Illustrator fails to export all text into final pngs or jpegs
I have been exporting images with text layers and I've noticed Illustrator seems to indiscriminately not export certain lines of text (not layer groups to be clear, but random lines of text). I don't know how to replicate this issue because it appears random, but I did include pngs of the file that I had this issue with most recently.
2 votesWe have been able to resolve the issue. You should not be running into this issue. Please do a relaunch or two to refresh the application.

Version History Panel not displaying any content (previous versions, bookmarked, etc.)
Problem:
Version history panel is not displaying any content for my cloud documents (.aic), such as previous saved states, bookmarked, or even a prompt that it cannot save or no states exist. This is happening for all my existing AND new files. This only started happening on the latest illustrator update.My setup:
Macbook Pro M1, OS Ventura 13.3.1
Adobe Illustrator 27.4.1What I've tried to do:
- Restart Creative Cloud and Macbook

Regression in version 27.0 - SVG tspan not handled correctly
Hello
When I place the following SVG
<svg xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" viewBox="0 0 500 500" width="500" height="500"><text><tspan>60</tspan></text></svg>
And then try to export the object back to SVG, I get
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><svg xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" width="36.86" height="39.2" viewBox="0 0 36.86 39.2"/>
The tspan content is gone.
Without the tspan it works ok. It also works fine in AI 26.5
The example is an extract from a larger SVG object created through the Datylon plugin
Seems like an AI regression bug. Any chance it will be fixed in later versions?

2 votesI am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 27.1.1 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

別名保存後にJPG書き出しした際、JPGのタイトルが別名保存前の名称になる
オペレーティングシステムおよび Adobe Illustrator (デスクトップ版) のバージョン
macOS Catalina 15.7
Illustrator 26.0.3（2022）問題が発生したときに実行していた手順
1 aiデータを開く（ファイル名 1.ai）
2 別名保存する（ファイル名 2.ai）
3 JPG書き出しをする（ファイル→書き出し→書き出し形式→ファイル形式：JPG）
4 保存されたJPGをFinderの「情報を見る」で情報を開く想定していた結果
ファイル名、タイトル共に「2」となる実際の結果
タイトルが別名保存する前の名前「1」となる業務のワークフローで、
aiデータをJPG書き出し→フォトショップのドロップレットでPDF変換→
PDFにキーワードをタグとして付与しフォルダに集める→必要な時にFinder上で検索
という手順を行っています。PDFにする際、JPGのタイトルがそのままPDFのタイトルとなるようで、検索の際にタイトルでもヒットするため関係ないファイルも検索されてしまい困っています。Acrobatでタイトルの変更ができますが、ファイルの最終更新日時が変わってしまうので可能な限り避けたいです。
数年前から同じような現象が起きているので、以前のバージョンから発生しているかもしれません。

OS でのファイル情報の「詳細情報」は、ファイルのメタデータのタイトルが参照されます。
Illustrator では「ファイル > ファイル情報...」メニューを選択し、ファイルのメタデータを設定変更できます。
書き出しファイルにも、このメタデータが使用されますので、Illustrator の「ファイル情報」メニューで変更したメタデータのタイトルが、OS のファイル情報の詳細情報に反映されるかご確認ください。

行間値が表示されない
環境: M1 Mac mini OS 12.1 / Illustrator 26.0.2
内容:
行間値が表示されなくなります。たまに治る時があります。
テキストブロックの行間は全て同じ値にしていてもすべてのテキストボックスで行間値が非表示になります。行間を変更したときに表示されるので、それで値の確認をしています。2 votesIllustrator 製品版フィードバックへのご協力ありがとうございます。
ご報告いただいた現象ですが、最新版「ver.26.2.1」でも再現できませんでした。
ご使用のマシンが「macOS 12.1」ということですが、現時点では Illustrator はサポート対象外となっておりますので、ご了承ください。

There is a Bug with this Bug Report.
Trying to submit a bug within this bug report produces an error. However after refreshing the page you will see that it did actually submit the post. So the error message screen is not accurate.
2 votesThe UserVoice support claims it is fixed now. So far no more new duplicates noticed, but please do comment if you still get them. We try to track and merge all of them.

テキスト操作時のIビームの点滅が早すぎる

macOS10.15.7テキスト入力時のIビームのフリッカが強すぎる。Tツールにてマウスカーソルを移動し挿入点を変更した際に特に早くなります。現象の動画を添付します。
入力時はカーソル付近を注視するため図形明滅刺激の影響による健康被害の発生につながる可能性もあります。ver.25の仕様に戻していただきたいと思います。

１ Windows 10 Pro バージョン20H2／プロセッサ Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10875H CPU @ 2.30GHz／実装RAM 32.0 GB (31.8 GB 使用可能)／64 ビット オペレーティング システム、x64 ベース プロセッサ
2 Illustrator2021で作成したデータを2022（最新版）で開き、デザインのバリエーションの作成を行おうとした。配置されている画像は２つ。うち1点の差し替えを行った。（Photoshopデータのリンクを変更）。差し替えた画像の大きさを変更するため、リサイズを行ったところ、アプリケーションがクラッシュ。復元データにより、1つ前の手順まではデータが残っており、作業の続行ができた。が、再び同じ作業（配置画像のリサイズ）でクラッシュ。
3 続行したデータを開き直し、もう一度作業のやり直しをしようと思った。
4 ２つのリンク画像が消失した。『「」というリンクファイルが見つかりません』というアラートが繰り返し出る（「」というファイル名をつけたことはない）。エラーの起きていなかった配置画像も消失し、リンク情報そのものが消えてしまった。
5 エラーの起きたデータを添付します。確認のため、開き直しているので日付がエラーの起きた当時のものではなく、本日のものに書き換わっているようですが、保存はせずに閉じています。2 votesIllustrator 製品版フィードバックにご協力いただきありがとうございます。

すでに再編集で問題が解決されているとのことですが、いくつか補足説明させていただきます。『「」というリンクファイルが見つかりません』というアラートの「」ですが、本来ならばカッコ内にリンクファイル名が表示されるのですが、クラッシュにより、ファイル情報が欠落してしまったと思われます。（通常はリンク切れでもファイル情報は保存されています）
今後、クラッシュが発生するような場合は、クラッシュ後に表示されるクラッシュレポートの送信機能をご利用ください。
また、クラッシュの再現手順が明確であるような場合は、こちらの UserVoice にご登録ください。こちらのレポートは対応終了とさせていただきますが、コメントはオープンしておきますので、追加情報があるような場合は、コメントをお寄せください。
