Can't drag a shape out of a layer if it's the only shape in that layer
When a layer contains only one shape or group, you can't drag that object out of the layer. That's because Illustrator iPad selects the entire layer when you select a single object in that layer.
Workaround: draw a second shape in that layer, drag out the initial shape, then deleted the original layer.
The same problem occurs when you want to drag all of the objects out of a layer: when you select them, Illustrator automatically selects the layers as well, so you can't drag the objects to move them to another layer.

Sometimes I can't select my layers I have to switch tools and it may work. And some layers disappear in the panel layer

When drawing then pressing cmd-z for undo, it will take me to the select tool?
I’ll be drawing with the brush tool and then I’ll undo. The stroke does undo, but it then takes me to the select tool meaning I have to reselect the brush tool again every time.

I’ve just purchased illustrator so that I can import my images from art studio pro and every time I try to import an image the illustrator program crashes

Stroke width min. of 1 pt unacceptable
Need better control over stroke width. Min. Of 1 pt width is completely unusable on fine arch. Plans, without scaling while drawing, and destroying scale. Need .25. & .5 pt at minimum. Must accept type in value.

Can't select certain layers.
Sometimes you can't select certain layers. Especially while working on several layers, I try to click on them but it won't register. Pretty annoying

Extremely hard to design
App is deleting my work; when I put in an image to trace the picture won’t show up just the outline box, can’t move layers, I am extremely frustrated I have deadlines and this app waisted so much of my time. The app won’t even respond to touch just completely crashes at times

When using both primary and secondary touch gesture after a while it get unselected
As per title, when trying to select multiple item by clicking keeping the touch tapped with the finger, it randomly stop

Things I DID NOT select gets moved and undo does not undo
I select a few things or one thing to move but items which I have not selected gets moved. It looks like I moved the artboard but not all the items are moved. When I hit undo, it undoes my action before this accidental one. It is really hard to move the things back to their actual place and I have encountered this bug at least 5 times today. I attached a screenshot of moved objects. The one on the right is supposed to be like the one on the left but this accidental movement made it like this. Only…

Transparent Artboard Fails At 360 Pixels Or Less
At 360 pixels or less in either dimension the transparency of the artboard fails and produces a white backgrounded PNG file.
361x361 > Transparent
360x361 > Fails to white
361x360 > Fails to whiteVery easy to test. Create artboards and place a single text item on it. Save as PNG. Test for transparency in the manner easiest for you.

Sharp Builder is inaccurate
Shape sizes change when Shape Builder is applied. See video attached.

The grid isn’t working correctly
When I use the toggle its stuck on the first option. I closed the app and now the grid doesn’t work at all.

Export problems
I can edit raster to grater than 72 dpi.
Also if I save as an AI, PSD My work is being flattened into one layer.
Also my work on AI for Ipad is not syncing to my adobe could... Ill open my cloud on my MAC and none of my iPad WORK IS THERE

Adobe stock can’t download on illustrator ipad
I can’t download my adobe stick vectors in adobe illustrator and I’m not sure why. Whenever I download the image and try to open it in illustrator it says it cannot download

More file exporting options
It would be nice to have the option to export things as a JPEG or EPS file in future updates. It was frustrating having to add a white background to all of my illustrations, then exporting them as PNG files.
