Color Picker Issue
The color picker is inaccurate when working on a Desktop Ai file with the iPad Ai app. It chooses a color that is close, but it should be accurate since these are solid vector shapes.

Pinch to Zoom stops working periodically forcing app restarts
Either during active work, or when swapping between apps on iPad Pro, the pinch to zoom function just completely stops working. You are completely unable to move around your artboard. In order to restore the functionality, the only solution is for the app to be closed or restarted. This problem has only started happening in the last week.

Fix app crash
I have the app on my iPad and whenever I edit photos (expand vectorization) the app tends to crash. I go back to the app and click on my “saved”work but nothings there and it crashes again.

App freezes consistently.
No matter in a new document, saved document, cloud or locally stored, the app freezes constantly. Sometimes it saves my most recent work, sometimes not. I have to close & reopen the app about 90% of the time. Sometimes it will let me change tools or layers, but won’t let me select or move anything on the art board.

Stroke styles bug
When I set a brush style on a stroke (on a line), for example a calligraphy brush style, and then later on I want to reset it to basic style, it won’t do anything, it won’t reset. Please fix this.

Keyboards shortcuts not working
Using Apple’s Magic Keyboard with my iPad Pro 12”, and this is the only app that doesn’t respond to keyboard shortcuts, although it should.
I tried multiple times, reopening the app, and it still doesn’t work. Illustrator is unusable on my iPad, as I cannot even merge multiple layers into a group and use the simplest shortcuts like copy/paste, or use the arrows on my keyboard to move objects quickly.Does someone have a solution to have the keyboard shortcuts ?

Gradient
Gradient tool is difficult to utilize. Instead of allowing me to adjust points on a gradient, it is more likely to add a new one. Then it becomes a trick in itself to delete them.

The illustrator app just crashes when loading. It opens up the main screen and then closes. I have updated my iPad software.
Illustrator won’t load. Both my app and iPad are up to date but still not letting me use it. It was working perfectly fine the first time and then all of sudden not working at all. Please let me know how I can fix this or if you need any more feedback.

Export to .psd doesn’t work

Rotation handle behind tools-popup for selected object - Illustrator for Ipad
When an object is selected and user rotates object 180deg with the rotation handle (handle is down/at bottom whereas default it starts above object) the pop-up with tools/options for the object (opacity, stroke, layer stacking, nudge, trash/delete, etc) is layered above the rotation handle in the UI making it impossible to rotate the object again without using the properties panel.
In light of this, a global suggestion (may not be feasible based on how apple pencil works):
if the pencil can be detected a short distance from touching the display, perhaps show a cursor with contextual clues as to what…8 votes -

Imported png image appears with weird background instead of transparent.
When i place a png image with a transparent background, it appears with a solid background made up of a warped version of the png (see attached image).

Move object using the X,Y axis coordinates doesn’t work
When I try to move an object by typing in the X,Y coordinates (for creating a seamless pattern - precision is vital) - it automatically changes my numbers/position. This is on the latest version of Ai on the latest generation of iPad. Sometimes I click the backspace arrow and it just starts changing the numbers eradically. It will continue to add numbers and change as I’m trying to enter my number. Definitely a glitch.
