Print-ready pdf export with bleeds
Please add the ability to export print-ready PDFs with trim marks and bleeds in Illustrator for iPad. That would be perfect for my workflow!

Add panning and zooming with keyboard and mouse
I’m trying to use illustrator for ipad with a keyboard and mouse but only being able to pan and zoom with my hands really is disruptive to my workflow (coming from a desktop user). It definitely requires a big habit change on my part to lift my hand up to the screen everytime I want to move the canvas around, but I would LOVE to have the pan and zoom by holding spacebar and moving around as well as cmd + scrolling respectively. Shape tool that allows multipoint star tool and multi side polygons
It would be helpful to have the ability to change the number of points on a star or a polygon like we can on the desktop version.

On the desktop version you get the menus in many languages, on the iPad version only in English. Please make available other options

Could you make the option to set it as a past version?
I use illustrator (desktop) to make a file for laser engraving machine or cnc.
And that machines only read illustrator version 8.
I usually use desktop to do this but sometimes I can’t access to desktop so I wish I can use that function with my ipad.1 vote -
Pencil tool option to not automatically close paths
Would be great to have the flexibility of having a tool that can accurately capture handwriting - automatic path closing prevents this
36 votesIt is now possible to open Pencil Tool Options and untick 'Close paths when ends are within a set tolerance' option completely (or change the value).
This will effectively stop Pencil from auto-joining.

Drag and Drop Artboard Copy
In desktop, I can Alt and Drag a copy of an Artboard. Currently, it seems in iPad I can only use the Duplicate button. This gets annoying. I want to be able to drag a copy of an Artboard to whatever location I want. Auto placement is nice, but it creates more steps in the workflow. I.e. Duplicate - Locate - Move. Whereas if I could drag a copy of an Artboard, I can move it up, down, left, right, diagonal, I always know where it is, and once it’s placed I don’t have to do anything else.

Hiding Properties Panel
When I’m working with text with the Properties panel open, and then make the text live to edit - the Properties panel hides automatically. So, if I’m trying to select letters or words specifically to edit, I have to reopen the Properties panel. It of course reappears after closing the live text edit. I think I’d like the panel to stay up, or perhaps reappear after making a single letter or word selection.

Create a share link with a locally saved file
Currently you have to save your file to the cloud to share a link. Just like XD I would like to save my files locally and use the feature to share a link for reviews.

To be able to create a new path off another path when using the pen tool like you can on pc
I normally link paths up while doing my art, expand and then use live paint mode on my Mac but can’t on the iPad. Would be awesome to be able to do this ! Example below to hopefully help this make sense

Allow to import and export EPS files into Illustrator on iPad
Allow to import .eps files into illustrator as editable vectors, similar like the desktop version. Would make editing ready / bought .eps files on the app possible and get so much done in a shorter amount of time. Please have this feature.

Long press delay to delete point is too short
When using the direct selection or pen tool to move points the point is deleted too soon if the apple pencil is used to select it. Long press is supposed to delete the point but this happens if you hold the pencil on the point for a very short time. Please add a longer delay or even better allow the user to set the delay in preferences.

Initial View : File Organization Sucks.
I want to have folders to tidy up my documents. I created the folders but I have to laboriously go through each document, press down on it, careful not to open it, then drag drag drag it up to the appropriate folder and drop it in. I did this a bunch of times only to find it had somehow moved everything into a nested folder I had, further messing up my document organization structure, yay.
Suggestions: provide basic file organization tools like in any app: a Select tool where I can choose a random selection of thumbnails via checkboxes, and…

Manual sync with CC
Syncing saved files over from Illustrator Desktop to Illustrator for iPad takes forever (hours, or sometimes even days) while the app says no sync errors. It'd be great to be able to manually sync with CC!

Change or leave dpi/ppi the same as document.
Created the document with 300 dpi but exports as 72dpi. This doesn’t even make since. At minimum, you should be able to select your ppi/dpi when you export your file. You would think it would export the same as your original document
