Toggle to disable closing of pencil lines
In the full version of Illustrator it is possible to turn off pencil lines from auto-closing by checking the “close paths” toggle off in the pencil options but it seems there is no option to turn this off for the pencil tool on iPad Illustrator. Very annoying when creating lots of short strokes and a good amount of them close into a shape.

Creating Fonts & Glyphs
Leveraging the Glyphs Engine, and allowing to clear and create new fonts, while using the grid to add new characters as glyphs(In a method similar to the "Export" drag N drop feature) and saving them/exporting as a ttc/ttf font file.

Snap to vertical or horizontal alignment when dragging points on shapes
Ex: when dragging a point on a triangle, would love if it snapped to when it was straight above or to the side of another point on the triangle

Add a quick show/hide button to reveal tool tip labels
Unlike desktop/Wacom styluses, the apple pencil has no hover state which makes it hard to know what tool does what. Would be very useful to have a quick show/hide button to quickly see hovering tool tips for each tool option in lieu of having a hover capability. Example UI attached.

Change color mode to CMYK on the iPad App
I need to export a flyer design to a print site, but it needs to be in CMYK colors, not just RGB.

Erase up to intersection (Paths)
Illustrator on Ipad and the normal one really needs a tool to erase to intersection, like for example Clip studio has. It has a few workarounds, but this should just be a feature, not something to work around.
Erase up to intersection should be a simple tool/or a feature you can activate on the normal eraser, so you can just touch the lines you want to cut and they will be erased up to the closest path it connects too.

Glyphs and ligatures for text (in OTF)
Not being able to access the glyphs and ligatures on an OTF font has meant that I cannot use AI on my iPad. And since that’s my primary tool for design these days, I’ve stopped using Adobe completely. I liked AI on my laptop and I need the iPad to have that full functionality before I can use it again.

timer on artworks
Adobe keeps track of how long you have spent in the artboard, maybe even add a timelapse of what you have done. Eg in procreate under Canvas Information

Knife / Slice & Scissor tools
Available under the “erase” tool just as they are on the desktop. Or make a shortcut key to erase in straight lines, currently there isn’t an easy way to break paths.

Greater control over direction handles
There doesn’t seem to be a functionality for using direction handles to modify sharp angles on a line. This would be very helpful for limiting how many points it takes to draw certain shapes!

Font search
Let me search for fonts by typing, rather than scrolling through a long list. In the future it would also be great if I could have some filtering features (serif, sans, script etc…)

PDF export options (e.g crop marks and bleed)
This is one feature that would really help my workflow! Also the option to select different PDF formats e.g 2001 etc would help. Affinity offers this but in a really confusing format.
