Vectorise tool ( customising settings )
It would be great if there was an option to remember customised settings from previous image tracing or at least to set parameters with visibility opted out. it would save a lot of time, because now each parameter changing leads to vectorise processing and takes up to few seconds.

Export to .jpg
I couldn’t find an export to jpg option, It’s a very common format I was surprised it wasn’t included.
In addition to that a slices option would be great.

Export to JPEG was already there in 1.0.
In the latest update more controls for export formats have been added.

Allow printing from the iPad
Please allow for users to print directly from the iPad. Right now we have to save the file and then go to a desktop version to print the files out. This is highly inconvenient and most people design directly on the iPad due to the versatility of using tools like an Apple Pencil. So, please add in a printing option directly from the iPad.

Off the object
When I want to move an object, I usually put the Apple pencil on it and move it. I wish Adobe could make it that i can put the pencil or finger on any area on the artboard and move it. That will help me see and control objects much easier and better..

I’d love image trace and the ability to warp text
I don’t use a desktop only my iPad so I can create on the go. In my opinion there’s no reason to pay for illustrator on my iPad when it doesn’t have key features like the ability to warp text and image trace.

“Embed All” button when embedding links.
Sometimes i work with files that have a lot of links! Then when I send that file to the factory I ha e to embed all those links. To embed all the links takes what feels like forever!
If there was a “Embed All” button it would save so much time! 🙂3 votes -

Make it possible to delete layers via sliding and clicking on a trashcan. And just like in the desktop version ask ‘are you sure’.

Re-draw line in the pencil tool, like in desktop
In the desktop when you draw with the pencil over existing line it allow you to re-draw fro. That section on. I was really surprised this ability isn’t available in the first version- seems like a must for the iPad, and a big differentiator from procreate and raster tools

Processor usage indicator
I often struggle with not knowing if nothing is happening because what I am trying to do is not supported, or if nothing is happening because the M 1 processor is just busy doing the calculations needed to execute my command.
As illustrator is rather processor consuming, it is often the latter, but I never know for sure until waiting time is over, or until I have given up hope and jumped to some other function. Some kind of “the iPad processor is busy calculating your request, please hold”-indicator would be extremely helpful thank you.1 vote
