1. The mouse wheel is broken for both scrolling and the animated zoom in 27.2.0.315

   The behavior of the mouse wheel is changed drastically for both scrolling and the animated zoom in 27.2.0.315!
   For some reason the Beta seem too treat one rotation of the wheel as an infinite and uninterrupted one, unless the mouse is moved. It leads to infinite scroll and instant zoom, completely unusable. Please take a look at the screen recordings attached.

   27.1.1_wheel.mp4 is how the released version behaves. One tick of the wheel — one step of zoom (with Animated Zoom on), or one scroll step.

   27.2.0.315_wheel.mp4 is how the Beta does it. If I don’t move the mouse when I move the wheel, it gets scrolled all the way uninterrupted, and zooms to the extreme in a blink. Just terrible!

3. PANTONE COLORS

   The idea of "some" pantone colors not being available anymore and all previously created files coming up with black fields where there was artwork before is, I'm not going to mince words, It's outrageous and Adobe should be ashamed of themselves. But what really galls me is that A. we should have already received a list of all the colors in question. B. we should be informed that there will be an option to automatically convert them to CMYK or RGB. And C. they should already be offering an equivalency palette. (Really they should just pay the licensing fee).

   So all that is bad enough but now that i've updated to 27, the latest, there is a big blue note in the middle of my screen reminding me of this change that is half cut off because i'm using a different screen res and so i can't get rid of this note as if they think warning us enough will make it not so bad when it starts happening.

   The crashes 3 times a week, bugs, delays, long lags just to change a tool, bad UI decisions that make it harder to work, and the way-to-often updates that usually cause more problems than they fix, is already bad enough. As someone who has used every version of illustrator since 88, I feel let down, ignored and frankly betrayed by adobe.

   At least get rid of that square enclosing box (see fig 2) with the eight white anchor points that appears around every object or group now making it impossible to grab and move objects without rotating or stretching them. Horrible design flaw.

4. Beta App Naming Consistency

   I’ve got no clue where to post this as I only see a Prerlease forum for Illustrator and not a Beta forum. Anyways, for the love of Pete, Adobe can you please be consistent in naming your beta apps.
    
   The Photoshop app is named as such. The folder tree: Adobe Photoshop (Beta) > Adobe Photoshop (Beta).app.
    
   But the Illustrator beta app is: Adobe Illustrator (Beta) > Adobe Illustrator.app.
[With no beta in the app name.]
    
   Why do I care? Because some of us on macOS use the Command+P system search to open apps. Doing a search for Illustrator Beta returns only the folder, not the app.

5. This is a bug report.

   Illustrator has a BIG problem i mean the user experience is TRASH. if your using illustrator for the first time then you will be COMPLETELY lost and no sane person is gonna watch a 3 hour tutorial on how to use JUST 1 feature on this app. This app has a problem with the tools not working how they were somewhat intended to. I've been using this app for about 7 weeks now and it still hasn't impressed me, the only consistent thing this app does is DISAPPOINT me. Either this app will go down or something needs to change.

6. Não consigos salvar arquivos no meu AI. Aparece o que está no print.

   Já desinstalei e reinstalei e nada! Continua aparecendo essa mensagem ao salvar.

   Para conseguir salvar um arquivo preciso tentar várias vezes no "salvar como".
   Alguém sabe como resolver?

8. Adapt Artboard to the size of the imported DXF

   When importing a DXF you have an option to adapt the Size of the DXF to the size of the artboard.
   IN order to keep real size of the geometry, it should be more convenient to do this in the other wayn e.G. adapt the size of the artboard to the limit of the DXF file.

9. Keep Real size when applying Substance to a Shape

   Could it be possible to keep the physcal scale of a substance (when given as metadata) In some case it's mandatory to in industrial/fashion design to use the actual size of a material to be alligned to the shape's geometry.

10. I can't use Enter / Return key when typing

    I can't use Enter / Return key in type - Why can't I press enter to start a new line of text?

    For example:

    I can't press Return
    Like this:
    and start a new line of text
    or the Enter key
    (or use soft return holding the shift key) it just jumps out of the text and selects the text box

    Each time I'm typing and press Return or Enter Illustrator goes out of type and selects the text box instead.
    I'm having to type in Notes or an Email to create the correct type. Please help.
    I've check all my text settings including Leading. I've also checked and this works normally in Illustrator 26.5 so it means I'm using that and not the Beta version.

    I'm using Illustrator Beta Version 26.6 on Mac OS Monterey 12.5.1

11. USD exports can't be imported into Apple's AR tools

    It's great to see the USD tools getting closer to release, and I can confirm that I can preview the USD files that Illustrator makes in macOS. However, because they're USD and not USDZ, I can't import them into any of Apple's Developer tools, and they throw errors when trying to import them into Reality Converter.

15. RGB/CMYK

    All of my files have been converted to RGB even though it says the document mode is CMYK. When I try to convert the colors to CMYK nothing changes. I need my artwork to be in CMYK for printing purposes. This has happened to all of my files and nothing is working.

16. i can't find 3d and material in windows menu

    only in effects menu 3d is available which has extrude and bevel only. there is no 3d and material in windows menu. where do i find the materials and 3d?

17. I can't save anything made in the Beta application

    A popup stating I don't have the right permissions required to save my work appears, and then the application crashes. I've lost 2 pieces of work now.

19. Illustrator não cola adequadamente o que eu copio

    Olá a todos! Meu problema é um pouco similar a um problema que já vi aqui na comunidade, mas há diferenças que faz de meu problema um novo problema. Como não soube pesquisar pelas palavras-chave adequadas para identificar se há algum problema idêntico ao meu, resolvi postar. Aqui vai a explicação.

    Não me recordo ao certo quando esse problema aconteceu, foi de repente. Um bug no meu Illustrator impede que eu copie textos e cole com a formatação adequada. Isso não ocorre somente com textos, mas com imagens e elementos agrupados também. Ressaltando que isso ocorre na última versão do Illustrator. Já reinstalei e baixei versões obsoletas, a mesma coisa acontece. Na primeira imagem, copiei o texto, que possui um tamanho de 40px e borda de 9pt, e colei. Observe que o texto foi colado com tamanho, fonte e ainda adicionou um símbolo no final. Na imagem 2, apliquei uma cor diferente, e ao colar, colou com as propriedades adequadas. Na imagem 3, copiei alguns elementos agrupados de um documento e colei em um novo documento, o Illutrator colou uma caixa de texto com alguns número aleatórios (coloquei o elemento original ao lado da caixa de texto pra fins de ilustração). Esse não é o único problema. Quando aperto Ctrl + C e Ctrl + D, o Illustrator não cola o elemento no mesmo lugar, como colava antes, mesmo apertando Ctrl + Shift + V (a imagem 4 mostra que pressionei o atalho para colar na mesma posição, mas o elemento foi colado para outra localidade. Às vezes, o Illutrator cola para uma posição ainda mais distante).

    Esses são os problemas que tenho enfrentado ultimamente. São problemas muito chatos que estão tirando um pouco da minha praticidade e precisava de algum apoio de como eu poderia prosseguir para resolver os problemas. Ficaria muito grato se houver alguma solução ou alguma ideia do que poderia ser esses problemas.
