  1. MB Pro (2019) 32gb RAM - 2 TB SSD etc. - Beta is continuously crashing with files of any significant size, standard AI runs fine?

    Anybody experiencing consistent crashes with MacBook Pro or similar machine? I can run the same files with ease in the standard version however large or multiple projects open in the beta version continue to lag and then crash. Any ideas? I have disabled all external plug-in, autosave features, etc. - Cloud is in use rarely, however always on 1gb internet speeds. Open to ideas!

  3. Can't open HELP window

    Ai - BETA version -
    It was working fine at first but then the "help" window when clicked started to appear and disappear instantly. So fast that it is impossible to write down the drawback.
    I uninstalled the program and reinstalled it and still the same. I don't know what to do

  4. Type on Path Tool is not keeping text on path

    The text is suppose to round the circle with the globe inside, instead it is scattered across the design. I have had to correct this on two separate files today.

  5. Glitchy selected type

    When text is selected (in beta) it creates a super cool — but totally annoying glitch effect. It renders fine again once the text is deselected.

  9. Eyedropper Tool picks a wrong color from white canvas

    Eye dropper tool, filling the different color from the canvas.
    whenever I used Eye Dropper tool, for example taking the color of canvas from white, to the shape . it just show me brown color instead of white.

  12. AppleScript Bugs Latest versions

    The latest Illustrators have NEW bugs I have consistently experienced on multiple machines with mixed intel/m1/m2 Macs with the following:

    1) Getting Name of Artboard no longer works
    Examples

    "tell application "Adobe Illustrator"
    tell document 1
    set artboardName to get name of artboard index 1
    end
    end"

    or

    "tell application "Adobe Illustrator"
    tell document 1
    set artboardName to (name of artboard index 1)
    end
    end"

    2) Make Artboards MRAP Error when doing consecutively failing more often with a document containing more than one artboard. For example the following script always fails at the 6th repeat if one artboard and the…

  15. テキストボックスの異常

    テキストボックスの操作が非常に難しくなりました。
    IllustratorかOS、どちらかのアップデートのタイミングのように思われます。

    テキストボックス内で任意のテキスト、あるいは行を選択する際に、選択範囲が勝手に大きくバックしたり先に広がったりして、
    狙ったところを選択するのにとても手間取ります。

    また、テキストの回り込みを適用したテキストボックスの、
    オプションキーを使ったコピーができません。

    全体を選択してオプションキーを押しながら移動すると、
    回り込み用のオブジェクトだけが移動して、テキストボックス本体は動きません。

    ご対応をお願いいたします。

  16. Beta Popup Partially Displaying

    The popup for Illustrator sharing betas are not displaying correctly and won't give me the option to stop the popups or sign up for them. You can't scroll up or down on them either.

    This has happened twice before, where I create a piece and try to save it, but I don't get the "where to save" pop up box. I tried everything, but it doesn't happen.

  18. Snap to pixel is gone.

    When designing artworki for video and the web it is critical that you maintain precise alignment with the pixel grid. Previous versions of Illustrator had a Snap To Pixel option in the view menu. This is not gone. It makes designing for the web and video nearly impossible when dealing with fine lines and hard edges.

    Put it back.

  19. Illustrator 2022 doesn't support Emoji Characters

    Someone IT fella in Adobe Illustrator removed the Emoji as characters in Illustrator 2022! Now we are not able to type Apple Emojis in Illustrator!
