An error occurred while saving the comment You mean it turned like this in older app after a crash, you saved it anyway, and now in a newer app it still looks like this? Well, I guess it is now what it is, only to clean up manually.
Or did something else happen and I got it wrong? And was it AI CC 2019 that acted weird? Can you describe the way it was acting up?

An error occurred while saving the comment Do you mean to DISPLAY grid only on ARTBOARDS (not canvas, because canvas is the area beyond artboards), AND snap to the grid where it is visible if the corresponding option is enabled?
As for the second part — please, try to stick to one request per request :)
There is existing one already you can vote for and add comments to: https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/32403802And thanks for the request! Grids are very unattended now.

An error occurred while saving the comment Cliff, do you expand the blend first, or just hit Object > Expand Appearance?
There is the difference! If you expand appearance first — then Ai tries to blend two groups basically, which know nothing about each other.
If you expand blend first — then you get several 3D objects with custom rotations, which you can now apply Expand Appearance to.
Does it work for you?

An error occurred while saving the comment The fun fact (not really) is that it’s still not fixed :(
As a fast workaround I can advise only to press Unite key in the Pathfinder panel. Even if its Remove Redundant Points option is turned off, this effectively merges these doubled points together.
This solution obviously does not work for several objects selected. If you have a lot of these, maybe using very handy VectorFirstAid plugin from AstuteGraphics pack can be beneficial (it does much more that this).
Well, 4 more years, I guess :(

An error occurred while saving the comment Cox, do you still have the issue with this?
If you do — can you please share the exported file you tried to colorize with Live Paint? There is not much can be told by the screenshot only. -

Hello,Please accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience and disappointment the issue has caused. We do test our products thoroughly including running it through multiple beta testers and we really regret that this issue slipped past our quality checks.
We have a fix and is available in the pre-release build. Please visit https://adobe.ly/1o2SDsg and get the latest build for version 23.0.5 (Build 2). While the build is prerelease this build is still of production quality. Please feel free to use/recommend it for your day to day activity.
We would appreciate if you can give us the feedback on the correctness of the fix by pressing the Thumbs up button on the UserVoice page.Regards,

Creativity is all around you.An error occurred while saving the comment The fact it got broken once again makes me feel that Microsoft drivers are as erratic as Wacoms. I assume it only gets more complicated.
Will try to bring more attention to it.An error occurred while saving the comment Mary, the fact it crashes both Ai and Ps makes it feel like it’s more a driver problem than Adobe’s fault... I can only guess, because in the past I had cases when a purchased 'brand new' hardware had a ton of software patches released, which the hardware knew nothing about.
HP x360 release date is October 2020, a year ago, so try to update stylus drivers first.
Please comment back if it does not help (or if it does). -

An error occurred while saving the comment Jean-Paul, while Ctrl+J indeed works for a lot of cases, it sometimes adds new segments where there were none, true.
Meanwhile, there is a perfect external solution for this, Rejoin Paths command in VectorFirstAid panel from AstuteGraphics plugins pack. It does exactly what you want and more, please try it.
There are also some free scripts that do the same operation, but in less clean and bulletproof manner, like Join Reasonably by Hiroyuki Sato.

Please accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience. Please get in touch with us at any of the other support channels – https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html . Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.
Thanks & Regards,

An error occurred while saving the comment Yes, noticed that once or twice too.
An interesting bug, definitely should be fixed.
Meanwhile there are two things that can help you:1. Try to use VectorFirstAid from AstuteGraphics to parse imported files and fix most of the clipping issues and other problems you probably even did not suspect about.
2. You don’t need to search for the clipping group in Layers manually if you have a child of it selected. You can use Group Selection tool (I have it bound to Shift+A, but it can be also called with holding Alt when Direct Selection is active) to click you object again — it will select the next parent group.
But yes, I think that a group without a clipping path should turn into a normal one too.

An error occurred while saving the comment Yeah, Adobe constantly trains us to expect broken behavior, because AI is bugged as summer garden.
If this is expected while broken, then change it to unexpected while fixed.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 27.1.1 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!

Strange, I’ve never seen a rhombus mark like that...
Are you sure that you are logged into CCD app?
