An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks, MatM. Never heard of it. Has voted
An error occurred while saving the comment Wow! What a bug! Can you provide screen recording on how this happens? Very curious!

An error occurred while saving the comment Same on Windows10 x64. It used to be a second to create new file, now it takes AI 5-7 seconds. Same with opening, +5-7 seconds.

An error occurred while saving the comment It happens to me as well, but not with library items, but anything else. Sometimes dialogue scaling just won't apply.

An error occurred while saving the comment You offer even more confusing one :) What if I have mesh inside a group? Mesh is not a path, but tool sill can select it. 'Group Selection Tool' means if selects single object inside groups. Propose a better one.

An error occurred while saving the comment ...'group layers'? Sorry, may be 'group objects'? Ctrl+G? Could you explain a bit more, in conventional terms?

It seems like several problems got mixed in the comments.
1. Guides made of single anchors (displayed as <Guide> in Layers) are displayed correctly in the latest versions of Ai when View > Guides > Show Guides is enabled (although they are rather small).
2. Illustrator does not draw centerpoints for ellipses while moving then in GPU mode — a know problem, reported separately here: http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447/suggestions/39740689
Please upvote it if you want to see edges while moving.
3. Show Edges option gets occasionally disabled — gets fixed with Cmd/Ctrl + H. Edges still won’t be drawn when GPU Performance and Real-Time Drawing and Editing options are enabled in Preferences > Performance, only when you switch to CPU mode.
If your case is nothing like this — please comment and share details on the problem, with steps and screenshots or videos.
An error occurred while saving the comment I assume that something was wrong in your 2018 settings, because 'That little magenta X shows up in earlier versions' actually is not what it should work like (at least for me and based on my experience). It's a 'center', and it's toggled on for every created ellipse or rectangle (and can be manually changed in Attributes). It gets highlighted if you have Smart Guides on (and snapping to grid off) and hover over the path, or always visible when you have object selected (but it IS broken in 2019 and NOT showing when you MOVE art, when 2018 does it OK).

An intended way of doing that is to use Object > Transform > Transform Each command. But there is no way to rotate objects right there on canvas with the Rotate tool. If you want the mode for Rotate tool to do that, vote here: https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657-illustrator-desktop-feature-requests/suggestions/46268581-rotate-objects-separately
An error occurred while saving the comment What about Object > Transform > Transform Each? Or I don't get your problem?

Hello everyone,
Lately we have been thinking about improving the snapping / smartguide experience on Illustrator and we need your help in this process.
Please spare us some time of yours where we can come together on a online meeting and discuss your needs and pain point around snapping.
Please use this link to book an appointment : https://calendar.app.google/r6SRMqu9KJZvoXAE6
An error occurred while saving the comment Worth thinking about for sure. Corel Draw has more types, more markers, better options, better snapping options, better snapping, better recognition.

I believe it’s fixed. If you still have a case when this doesn’t work for you, please comment back and share a test file directly in the comments (if you are allowed to), or send it over to sharewithai@adobe.com, providing the link to this report (https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447/suggestions/35328586)
An error occurred while saving the comment It should be a brush option though, because changing it will ruin existing artworks.
Please add this option and make it not default. -

An error occurred while saving the comment What will happen if I rename an image used on file, or move it? Do you expect monitoring agent to warm you about this file is used?
Quite complex tracking, when you have other several thousand projects -

An error occurred while saving the comment How do you imagine this?
Where exactly do you think AI can show this warning? Before or after? Is actual lots of appearance is less noticable than a warning that most likely would be a notification, like the one is shown when love shape is expanded? -

An error occurred while saving the comment It started to work weird some time ago.
For example, I resize an object, dragging top right corner.
I then command Transform again for other objects.
Transformation happens OK, but transformation center is misplaced — object jumps.
I can try to understand, how it is calculated, but this is definitely not what I expect.

An error occurred while saving the comment Christopher, as I was told by AI team, it actually exists. GPU mode in version 22.1 'draws lines little thicker' to address 'aliasing problems'. Actually it's because they moved from Nvidea pipeline to OpenGL.

I think the problem they tried to solve is not solved by this, so that's why I voted. -

An error occurred while saving the comment I would say more — it works NOWHERE, in any field on any OS.
But I would like to have it working. -

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 25.2.3 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!
An error occurred while saving the comment Christopher, it will, if you check Scale Strokes & Effects in Preferences

An error occurred while saving the comment Well, I think right now is quite healthy behavior.
What you need to achieve your goal — is Divide and then Unite.
Yeah, it's a bypass, but a legal one, like most complicated things are.An error occurred while saving the comment What do you expect to happen? Yellow rectangle to be trimmed and only visible shapes got combined?
Calm down.
When you shout 'CHANGE MY COLOR', you better spend your efforts not for pushing Shift in blind rage (or factitiously switching Caps), but to explain in common way (which people use when they talk) what do you actually want.
If you prefer shouting (thus dropping your chances of getting help) then read manual... no, you can't, you have your eyes poked out :(
Well, it's 'beyond you' then.
