Also, can yo share the file that does have the issue for the team to check? -

An error occurred while saving the comment I’m not sure, but it can be CMYK conversion problem.
What is the document’s color mode?
Can you also share the packaged file to test, at sharewithai@adobe.com? -

An error occurred while saving the comment Jan, can’t reproduce it.
Does it always behave like that for you? Can you provide exact steps? -

An error occurred while saving the comment That’s how Save As works. It creates a new file and replaces the opened file with it.
What you should do instead is to use Save a Copy instead of Save As — Option + Command + S. This will save a copy in background and keep the original document open instead of a newly saved one.
Just a matter of habit! Good luck and sorry for the lost time.

An error occurred while saving the comment Something is definitely wrong...
You can try to reset preferences (https://astutegraphics.com/support/tutorials-and-troubleshooting/resetting-illustrator-preferences) or try the new Beta and see if it is fixed in the newer version )nut this requires installing it)
But for now you can try also to just disable the Home Screen in Preferences > General. An error occurred while saving the comment Carlos, what version is this? Does it happen always, when you launch AI? When did it start happen?
As a workaround I can offer go to Preferences (Ctrl+K) and switch Start screen off — Genera l > Sheow The Home Screen When No Documents Are Open.I don't use it myself, because it is slow, blurred and laggy.

An error occurred while saving the comment A bug indeed, you can’t reverse it with the Pen click in the end point for some reason!
What you can do though, as a workaround, is to run Object > Path > Reverse Path Direction command. Quite new. It should do the trick (checked). -

An error occurred while saving the comment Johan, grabbing a point with a Pen tool? What do you mean?
Can you record a small GIF or a video or just make a screenshot showing the problem? An error occurred while saving the comment The tolerance for selection bug seems to be fixed in last version (22.1), which can be installed manually. Have you tried it?
An error occurred while saving the comment Leo, have you tried the last beta? Tolerance works fine there
An error occurred while saving the comment Seem to be fixed in latest beta
An error occurred while saving the comment AI CC 2017 doesn't feel and apply the tolerance, set in Preferences > Selection & Anchor Display!
I've just checked this in CS6. While fresh instalment doesn't do as you show, after setting 8px everything is OK. But in CC — NO.
Please see the animation attached. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Please check your snap settings (in View menu). It seems that you have either Snap to Grid or Snap to Pixel options enabled.
