   If the object is locked you can't select it to make it the key object
   How do you suggest it should behave?
   Maybe a trigger button could work

   E.g
   Hold the V key while selecting a locked object could temporary unlock it

   Save Submitting...

   I think that this is a critical missing
   It would be useful to avoid endless drag & drop if you have a document with many artboards

   Also a search field to find quickly what we need could be a game changer feature:

   The latest Beta 28.5.0.78 allows manual dimensions to stick to arbitrary points and recalculate correctly when objects are repositioned or transformed — just as we expected it to. This includes gaps also.

   Please try it and see if it works for all the cases you have and comment back.
