It seems to work in the latest Beta 29.5.0.15, the Curvature Tool now respects Smart Guides. The position quantization for new points is still there, and these two snaps seem to fight, but it is usable finally. Please test it and provide some feedback.

In some occasions it comes in handy to see all anchor points, even those of unselected objects. (to snap to e.g.)
Please make this possible. A small hint may be enough, to distinguish 'm from selected anchors.

In some occasions, it comes in handy to see where anchor points reside on non-selected paths (to snap to, or cut with the knife or whatever).
Please add a Preference to do so - a tiny hint of where the points are may be enough. -

@Egor - For example when making big repeating patterns (e.g. to use as a texture tile or pattern tile).
To create a seamless tile, I need to replicate the element at the sides to the opposite sides. In stead of using the Move command to copy elements (and repeatedly enter the distance in the numeric field), I like to enter this as Keyboard Increment, to have it handy at all time.
Let's say the tile I am working on is 4096 x 4096 px - currently I have to use 1024 as Keyboard Increment and press it four times to reach the other side. I think 1296, is some kind of 8 bit leftover. Don't know why it is still a limit.

The Keyboard Increment (aka Cursor Key Distance) is limited to 1296 px.
But artboards can be much bigger. So please set this limit to eg the half of the maximum artboard size.Jan Vork supported this idea ·

Though marked compatible, the AMD Radeon Vega II does not render Illustrator art work correctly. In this case a Compound Path (see what happens to the top of the letters B DIR), without GPU and with GPU.
I am on MacOS Monery 12.6 / Ai 27.2

The latest version of Illustrator now allows you to manually control the behavior with the 'Suffix' option in the Export As dialog. Please check if it it works for you and comment back if it does not.

When saving with 'Use artboard', and overwriting a previous version, Ai asks whether it should overwrite. But then - it doesn't, since it adds the useless -01 after the filename.
'Use artboard' is the way to just export the cropped art. When there is only one artboard, the -01 should not be added. And Ai should not warn that it is going to overwrite, when it isnt' (since we removed -1 manually in Finder).
Please rework this behaviours, it is confusing, not helpfull, unlogical, time consuming and annoying.

The behavior of Ai to add -01 when exporting using Artboards should be more controllable. I have a lot of situations where there is only 1 artboard. I like to control how my exported file should be called. In the current version, when overwriting exports, I can end up with files called [filename]-01-01-01.png
Please add a checkbox to give us the possibility to skip the 'intelligence' and just manually type a name that will be respected and used exactly as we type it.Jan Vork supported this idea ·

I think it's due to general misconception of motion graphics workflows by the Illustrator team.
Illustrator has some video templates, but these are not very usefull.
When working in RGB for video, we need to start on black, and have 16bpc. Most of us do not need the green video rulers and center marks.Jan Vork shared this idea ·

Each time, we adjusting a Swatch' color, we have to check 'Preview'.
Please let that setting be sticky. - once set, keep it active and vice versa. -

Yes, very uncomfortable that Adobe decided to choose a folder without writing permissions.
@adobe I think the Documents folder is the best place for templates. Ot at least for User Templates.
