The latest Beta now has this fix included as well.
Please make sure the fix is ready to be pushed in GA build and comment back if you still experience problems with setting a color using Mixer mode from within Control panel.

An error occurred while saving the comment Vlad commentedSame here. It's like there is some huge file opened and a lot of lag is created because of it. Especially after the last update.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 25.2.3 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!

This problem requires an investigation, but not enough data is gathered yet to even start it.
Please provide these settings to help the team to deal with the problem:
1. The version of illustrator. OS and GPU model
2. Your color settings (a screenshot of the Color Settings dialog will do)
3. A test file with swatches which gets changed
4. A copy of this file when changes happen (if there is a difference in actual numbers swatches store)
Also, please check if the behaviour differs when you disable GPU mode and note that.
Send these to sharewithai@adobe.com (please also provide the link to this report for tracking purposes — https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447/suggestions/40866958) or share directly in the comments if you are allowed to share these files publicly.
It looks like this case is configuration specific, so if you are potentially willing to participate in the investigation of this issue by a…

The latest Beta build 29.0.0.9 now allows us to create a gradient from selected swatches, using two ways:
- Select swatches you need (use Cmd/Ctrl to select several) and drag-n-drop them onto the gradient strip in Gradient panel.
- Select swatches you need and choose the new 'Gradient from Swatches Selection' command from the Swatches panel’s flyout menu.
In both cases new gradient stops will be spread uniformly, using the current order of swatches in the panel (not the order of selection).
If you have artwork selected in the document while doing this, the gradient will be automatically applied to it.
Please try the feature and comment back.

Please accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience. Please get in touch with us at any of the other support channels – https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html . Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.

Adobe. Make It an Experience. An error occurred while saving the comment Vlad commentedIn the latest CC version whenever want to change a font, the dropdown menu always start at the top of the list instead of the selected font. It is very inconvenient to go through all my list every time so i can choose another font. This problem did not occur in the 2017 version. FIX IT!!!

I have the same issues, stroke and fill colors picking doesn't work properly. I thought I was losing my mind.
Also, shift clicking the swatch doesn't work as before coming up as blank and when clicking on a color instead of adding a fill color it adds a stroke color.
