    Hi,

    When changing the size of a Text Area via mouse the text is repositioned within the available space.

    But I also regularly change sizes via the property panel in order to get the exact wanted values. But changing the size of the Text Area results in a deformed type (treated as a Point Type). There is now way to reset to the original undeformed font.

    The behaviour via the Properties panel should be the same as via the mouse!

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 27.1.1 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

    rectifying above, 0.01 mm should be 0.05mm!!

    Also on max zoom level, still 0,05 mm increment

    Hi,
    Using a A4 document and millimeters as dimensions, object positioning is not really accurate. Moving an object is only possible with increments of 0.01 mm.
    So for more complex objects exact positioning is not posssible.

    Hi All,

    We have fixed this issue in 24.0.3 version of Illustrator (MAC only issue). Please update to 24.0.3 if you are encountering this issue. For all the other issues which you are encountering regarding the update or the new document dialog or any other please create another User Voice thread for that issue so that we can track it there itself.

    I can confirm I have also a blank window on create a new document. But for me after several seconds the window is filled. Workaround is to set in Ai Preferences > General > Use legacy "File New" interface

    Can someone form Adobe, like Akshaya Saxena, explain to us what has happen? In just minor update such a huge bug in the core functions? The lates 24.0.3 was not a stability fix, more damage control!
    I needed to explain to a customer why I send not updated files (just some text changes). So you can explain it to us!

    So it’s obviously not fixed, and we all know it.

    While the cursor gets changes into the horizontal/vertical two-headed arrow, the center handles for the bounding box indeed don’t appear, if the width/height of the art (here just an orthogonal line) is small enough.

    Please continue to share you thought, screenshots, GIFs. It’s time to re-review this again.

    @Riccardo, really strange indeed.

    Especially because I use the International version (EN) and not the Dutch version of Ai.

    Maybe the rollout is only for special IP-ranges?

    Strange I’am running Ai v23.1 . But now I see this version not in the release notes:

    OMG, am I finally using Ai 2019, It seems like AI 2019 suffers an enormous Memory Leak! Same file in CC2018 uses about 300 MB, Ai CC2019 uses multiple GB .........

    OK, seems like the behavior has changed a bit. Still no center handle, but when using the corner selector, scaling is only inline (similar to the old center handle). Not a consistent behavior, but a step in the good direction. Think I can now use CC2019 after about 8 months after release date....

    And note: when the line is slightly not a straight line and/or perfect horizontal / vertical the middle handle will appear.

    As far as I know, regarding the communication I've had with the support (remote control, chat and more), this issue is marked as a bug and not as intentional removed!

    So Adobe please fix this issue. Still stucked to Ai CC2018
