I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 24.3.0 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!

Please accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience. Please get in touch with us at any of the other support channels – https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html . Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.
An error occurred while saving the comment Russ Gray commentedActually this is a generic issue, but I do recognize it is hard to reproduce (it is VERY random, and I have yet to find out what triggers it). Please see this other thread linked below. I've tried to attach links in that one to a number of other posts talking about the same thing. Hoping we can all comment in ONE, so that we get noticed! : )

Hi Joel,
Thanks for reporting the issue. I tried reproducing this on my computer but couldn’t reach to your conclusion. Can you please share the steps and a screen shot if possible with us. Is this happening every time or in some specific scenario. Also please let me know on which OS are you working.
An error occurred while saving the comment Russ Gray commentedJust to add to this thread: there are several other reports of the same bug, just a few of which I've pasted here. (Lest anyone thing only the 8 of us have this issue). The last listing is from a forum, and it seems to be fairly well-documented there. Photoshop also has the same issue, and several forum threads document it as well, so there seems to be some connection in terms of the issue.
An error occurred while saving the comment Russ Gray commentedSame issue here on my end, both Illustrator and Photoshop.. Has been an issue now for a year or more for me. Talked to reps in the forums, as did many others, they said it should be addressed 2 updates ago. Still an issue unfortunately.
I am using Illustrator 24.2.3, Mac OS 10.13.6. iMac late 2015 (thus not the latest OS) 4 GHz Intel Core i7 / 32GB 1867 MGz DDR3 / AMD Radeon R9 M395 2048 MB.

Not a massive problem rendering the software unusable or something, but at times, a serious inconvenience.

An error occurred while saving the comment Russ Gray commentedI admit this isn't a "new feature" but is so needed. That tiny, 0.5 pixel width "seam" line is an absolute nightmare to deal with. Sure we've always been told it won't "print", but it sure shows up when importing a pattern into Photoshop. Cloning the seam line out is WAY too much work. There has to be a way to fix this seam.
This is getting more problematic as time goes on. I use Illustrator daily (for at least 20 years now) and have definitely noticed this problem only within the last year or so. Here is a screenshot of my computer, which I just had to restart because of Illustrator (which crashed moments ago). Once I restarted the machine, I re-initialized Illustrator hoping it would improve. It's better, but here's an image of the load on Memory. Could this be a preferences corruption? Something? None of my co-workers have this issue, and even my MacBook Pro doesn't seem to have the issue. (Note: the green areas are where Illustrator was NOT open, the red when it was).
