Where has Export > DXF Gone?
Export as DXF has been removed since the latest update.
This option is essential at our workplace.Is there a reason why it was removed?
3 votesBoth DXF and DWG export options are there now in the 'Save as type' dropdown list in the Export As dialog, in recent versions of Illustrator.
Please comment if these are missing for you.

Allow to change the UI language inside the program
Add language option inside the program, instead of using system standard language. And can't use Creative Cloud application. My school have already application from Adobe which is install before hand. And applications has not been added to the list in Creative Cloud, there for I can't edit language.
Just add option to change language inside the program.

All Adobe apps - New Document Page (UI)
Although Adobe aims to keep their user interface simple and efficient, the current <New Document Page> lacks of readability for its users. It's too dark and this makes it harder to read what symbols stand for. I think Adobe should;
1) Use larger icons on this interface.
2) Make the icons relatable for the name of the products (iPhone, etc.)

Highlight to reveal objects that have rotation
Selection highlights used to be jagged or stepped in appearance if a slight angle was present in an object or text. Now it is impossible to see if an object or text is at zero degrees of rotation unless you examine the transform properties panel.
I'd like the ability to highlight any object that has rotation other than zero degrees to enable an accurate artwork environment.

Suchen und finden option
Ich wünsche mir auf dem i Pad die Funktion suchen und finden. Nach Aussehen, Flächenfarbe, Kontur etc. die gibt es auch auf der Desktop Version und es ist sehr hilfreich um mehrere gleiche Formen farbig zu verändern.

gestures
Make it so Windows version of Adobe programs are capable of all gestures such as zoom and pan/scroll. This works perfectly fine on my MacBook, but on Windows I'm only able to chose if I can scroll/pan or zoom, but cannot zoom and pan. This makes working with the program extremely difficult and infuriating when it's such a simple feature that works in every other basic program.
I don't understand how this is still an issue when this has been posted on every Adobe forum for several years now. Especially now that you can't just purchase and own the programs,…

SVG Import Notification and/or debug log
Short back story: My company is an online supplier of custom printed products. Customers design their order on our website which we translate into an SVG file. Our production team imports that SVG file into AI for final processing of the customers order.
When importing SVG files to AI sometimes entire parts of the design are not imported without any notification or log of the event.
For example, when our production team imports SVGs where the text contains an emoji we sometimes (maybe always?) find that the entire text block is no longer included in the design. This is not…

Allow to set custom keyboard shortcut for tool size larger and smaller
If you have an AZERTY (French) keyboard it is IMPOSSIBLE to increase or decrease the tool size using a key shortcut. Allowing users to set a custom key would at least permit them to work around this limitation, at the same time as it would enlarge the customization of the tool.
With AZERTY the default keys [ and ] aren't accessible except using the Alt Gr modifier, and this does not work. Distribute / align on edges of an artboard or a shape
A request to add two buttons to the "Align" options :
distributing shapes on an artboard in order to have equal spaces between those two shapes AND the edges of the artboard.
This could work with more than two shapes, and artboard could also be replaced by another shape (like a background color...).This should be clearer with a picture...

Fix the zoom error
Zoom error when edit artboard name. Illustrator automaticaly zoom 1700% and miss the pixels, after I zoom out a bit, there are the real pixels on 1600%.
Every time I edit an artboard name, I must check, that my icon ruined or only the bug... please why?2 votes -
Allow Global Edit to work with Text, Clip groups, Images, etc.
Would love to see advance global editing. I've noticed that grouped, clip masked and text doesn't work with global editing. This will really speed things up for all adobe illustrator user.

Add 'Average & Join' to the Object > Path menu
There is Object > Path > Average, and there is Object > Path > Join. And there is also the very useful Average & Join command... but that's only discoverable if you go digging through the Keyboard Settings and notice it lurking in the 'Other Object' section.
Please make it easier for novices to discover it, and for experts to point novices to it, by adding Object > Path > Average & Join right below the two menu items it combines.

Cloud Dokument lässt sich nicht öffnen
Ich habe gestern meine Datei zum ersten mal unter Cloud von Adobe gespeichert und nicht auf meinen PC und jetzt kann ich die Datei weder öffnen noch Herunterladen. Wenn ich es versuch zu öffnen steht entweder nichts dabei oder fehler beim öffnen und irgendwas ganz kleines was ich nicht lesen kann. Beim Herunterladen der Datei steht dran Fehler beim Herunterladen. Ich bedanke mich bei jeder Hilfe im Vorraus.

Being Able to toggle between selecting All Anchor Points on a Selected Object and All Objects
Hitting Apple+A (or Control+A) to be able to select all Anchor Points on the Currently selected object and toggle between this and selecting all points on all layers

ワークスペースに記憶されるスウォッチ
ワークスペースの機能をとても気に入っています。作業をしていてどんなにパネルをごちゃごちゃにしても、一発ですっきりと自分のお気に入りの環境に戻せるからです。
しかし、残念なことがひとつあります。
私は、よく使う色を、aiにまとめてスウォッチを作っています。
そのスウォッチを読み込んで、そのパネルを、ワークスペース内の他のパネルとくっつけて、私の理想的なワークスペースをいくつか作りました。それに名前をつけて保存しておきました。ところが、Illustratorを再起動すると、ワークスペースから自作のスウォッチのパネルだけが無くなってしまいます。他のパネルの配置や状態は変わらないのですが、自作のスウォッチの状態だけは記憶されていないようです。
ところが不思議なことに、新たにワークスペースを作って、Illustratorを終了するまでの間は、自作のスウォッチも含めて記憶されているように見受けられます。パネルの配置を変えてしまってから、「ウインドウ > ワークスペース」で保存したワークスペースのリセットを行うと、自作のスウォッチも含めて、元の状態に戻ります。
ああ、素晴らしい。快適だなあと思うのですが..
次にIllustratorを起動したときには自作のスォッチのパネルだけ忘れられているのです。とても惜しい。もうちょっとで完璧なのに！1 vote -
