ワークスペースに記憶されるスウォッチ
ワークスペースの機能をとても気に入っています。作業をしていてどんなにパネルをごちゃごちゃにしても、一発ですっきりと自分のお気に入りの環境に戻せるからです。
しかし、残念なことがひとつあります。
私は、よく使う色を、aiにまとめてスウォッチを作っています。
そのスウォッチを読み込んで、そのパネルを、ワークスペース内の他のパネルとくっつけて、私の理想的なワークスペースをいくつか作りました。それに名前をつけて保存しておきました。ところが、Illustratorを再起動すると、ワークスペースから自作のスウォッチのパネルだけが無くなってしまいます。他のパネルの配置や状態は変わらないのですが、自作のスウォッチの状態だけは記憶されていないようです。
ところが不思議なことに、新たにワークスペースを作って、Illustratorを終了するまでの間は、自作のスウォッチも含めて記憶されているように見受けられます。パネルの配置を変えてしまってから、「ウインドウ > ワークスペース」で保存したワークスペースのリセットを行うと、自作のスウォッチも含めて、元の状態に戻ります。
ああ、素晴らしい。快適だなあと思うのですが..
次にIllustratorを起動したときには自作のスォッチのパネルだけ忘れられているのです。とても惜しい。もうちょっとで完璧なのに！1 vote -

Add an option to make the bottommost object a Key Object
Please add an option to the Align Panel to allow the user to change the default behaviour of "Align to Key Object".
Currently, the default Key Object is the topmost object. However, it's very rare that I don't want the complete opposite – ie. to align an object to its underlying container. If users were able to "Align to Key Object (Bottommost)", it would save an enormous amount of time and effort.

Free Distort Zoom
You guys should allow Free Distort to be zoomed-up on in the Free Distort window. It'd be nice to be able to zoom up real close into that window like one can on an artboard.

Feedback on Enhanced Cloud Document Feature (in Beta now)
Now, embed Photoshop cloud documents into your cloud documents and files. You will be able to select your Photoshop cloud documents in a new cloud picker in the Place dialog.
Track the status of individual cloud documents, through the Cloud Sync icon in your CDO.

Commemoratively change 'Edit in Isolation Mode' to read 'Edit in SELF-isolation Mode'
For a little (temporary) comic relief during the pandemic and also as a small commemoration to the difficulty and pressure many of us are feeling from living and working in lockdown.
Perhaps also a nice way to remind each other that, albeit socially isolated, we're also connected through this crisis too.
Also, does anyone else emember when illustrator included Easter Eggs like; show number of clicks?

MAKE. THE. HANDLER. BIGGER
make that tiny little ANCHOR and HANDLER bigger. I'm tired of failing to click that tiny rectangle every single second. PLEASE. I BEG YOU
1 voteThe size of handles can be changed in Preferences > Selection & Anchor Display, using the Size slider.
As for the selection tolerance for these — the problem with it is known and reported in a separate bug report: https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447-illustrator-desktop-bugs/suggestions/20358952-selection-tolerance-for-selecting-handles
Please vote if you want to get it fixed.

Display the Tranformations applied to a Symbol
Please add to Info and Transform panel: the scale values of the selected symbol compared to the original.

Fit artboard in window when opening an Illustrator document
Please have the file open as Fit Artboard in Window. Like it used to be. It is annoying to have to hit the shortcut, Command - 0 every time I open a file.

Vector Halftones Effect (within AI and without third-party plugins)
I would like AI to integrate a feature that can convert raster images and/or vector elements (gradients, sketches, shapes, anything..) into a perfectly shaped round dots Halftones Effect.
As a matter of fact, it is already possibile to get something similar by applying the raster halftones Effect to the element and then Live Tracing it. But the result is something uneven made of irregular circles or shape. So it is not a precise function to take into consideration.
The effect should be achieved without any third-party plugins or anything which is not already included in the full AI software release…
200 votesAi allows to use Halftone effects via Effect -> Pixelate -> Color halftone.
What specific cases are not solvable through the use of this?

Add an option to Outline pathfinder command to keep original strokes
Outline command is great when you need to cut your path on every intersection. But sadly, it also sets all strokes to None. Most of the times this is not I want. Every time when I see this function explained to somebody else, I see them adding "...but sadly it will make all your strokes vanish".

Can you please add the feature of blog brush for clean drawings? Like no edges something like a paintbrush tool but an enhanced version. Please check the attachment for what I mean.. Just simply all lines joined together so it not create a mess. Thank You

puppet pen tool
it is missing in adobe 2017, how to get it.
1 voteThe only wayt to get the Puppet Warp tool is to upgrade at least to October 2017 version or newer. The tool is hidden in the Basic toolbox, and is located in Free Transform tool group in Advanced toolbox. Switch these in Window > Toolbars menu.

A program to make bag pattern, , leather items for us vitiate people that are not that great on computers.
A program for us vitiate people that allows us to create leather bag, or other items. With capability to print on EU, 8.5x10 , plotter for larger designs. I know some people are able to use AI for this , however some of use are computer challenge, something made simple would be nice.

Allineamento ad oggetto bloccati
Buonasera,
migliorare la potenzialità di illustrator per quanto riguarda allineare oggetti su oggetti bloccati sarebbe fantastico e performante.
Nell'ambito del mio lavoro usiamo fustelle predefinite.
l'idea sarebbe poter selezionare l'oggetto bloccato sulla tavola disegno o livello template e agganciate/allineare all'oggetto un altro oggetto.
Questo permetterebbe un allineamento veloce e sicuro.
Provo a spiegarlo con l'esempio.L'ideale sarebbe inserire nel pannello "allinea oggetti"
lo strumento allinea a centroQuesto permetterebbe la possibilità con un solo click l'allineamento all'oggetto bloccato

Allow show path on hover with snap to grid enabled
Currently, enabling Snap to Grid doesn't allow the user to see paths when hovering over them. Please make it so that users can hover over a path and see it highlight with snap to grid enabled.

Find and replace window does not show complete sentence in that frame, that window adjust auto space in the earlier versions. will you please fix this

SVG exporting of path points
Illustrator SVG asset exporter doesn't export single-point paths.
My work system reads SVG files' layer and object names as IDs. In these files, I create a single point with the pen tool to use the x,y values as coordinate data. (This object is graphically a Path with a single anchor point.) I'll also create paths with 2 or more points in these files. When I export these objects using the asset exporter, the paths with a single point doesn't get exported, while paths with 2 or more points export successfully. I am giving up-You have so much data on my mac-on my iPad pro-files that I have no clue who put them on Lenovo, from yous! Its been about 15 years ,Ive tried-I am 60! I cant Take it-you have no help for people like me=I have learning Disability,I look at your software =I see almost nothing possible to do?
I can use sketch book-procreate, but Adobe its just foregin ,you offer no means for me to understand and its very sad- I need to make clean crisp lines- I need control+ in Procreate it all looks good then BANG…1 vote
