1. Adobe illustrator is running slow for no reason

   I have been using adobe illustrator for more than a year on my vurrent laptop and i never had problems (acer nitro 517-52 GTX1650Ti I5). I have updated my graphic drivers and illustrator too. I know i am using more and more fonts over the time. But since adobe illustrator crashed yesterday i doesnt stop lagging. When i am constantly zomming in and out with alt and middle mouse button its crashes in less than 5 sc and crash after placing down 5 rectangles in like 30 sc. My document size is 2000 by 2000 mm and i also tried 500 by 500 mm and same thing. It is really bothering me since i cannot finish my work. I also tried forcing it using my gpu and same thing over and over again.

2. Delete Hidden Layers command - Inappropriately named?

   The latest version of Illustrator (25.3) introduces a new command in the flyout menu of the Layers palette. It is called Delete Hidden Layers.

   It's a useful command, but it also deletes hidden groups and objects inside visible layers and visible groups as well. These are not what most Illustrator users would describe as 'Layers' and thus the naming of this command may cause a lot of trouble.

   There should perhaps be at least two or three different commands: Delete Hidden Layers and Delete Hidden Objects and Delete All Hidden Items.

3. Hitting Tab To Rename A Layer Targets That Layer

   Thanks for implementing the ability to move up and down when renaming layers!

   Unfortunately, the function has limited applicability for me, because unless I can determine what the layer is, from the tiny layer thumbnail, I don't actually know what to name the layer.

   Consider a geometric character design. Perhaps the ears are circles; the eye whites are circles; the pupils are circles; the glasses are circles, the knees and elbows are circles; the hair is a bunch of circles etc etc etc.

   I need the shapes to be highlighted when I'm renaming them so that I know what to rename them.

5. Subdivision for Ellipses / Circles

   For constructing objects with circles, it would be nice to have a possibility to enter the subdivision / number of Anchor Points on a circle.
   All circles have 4 Anchor Points and this can be subdivided to 8/16/etc., but when we need a circle with 6 evenly spaced Anchor Points, it's quite a hazzle to get there. Why not add a subdivision field?

6. Shortcut "Make New Artboard"

   I need a shortcut to make a new artboard.
   same syntax as a new layer with Ctrl + L but for artboards

   There is no way to assign any kind of shortcut to this SO basic command, nor via action, shortcut editor, or script. And I'm aware of Shift + O

7. Paste Remembers Layer from Indesign To Illustrator

   When pasting from Indesign to Illustrator it would be very handy if there was a remember way to keep layers intact instead of flattening them onto one layer? Maybe a dialogue box that just okays the action?

8. Type tool does not keep selected color

   If I have one fill color selected on the type tool, it changes to black the moment I click on the artboard to begin typing. It needs to stay the selected color for all tools. I shouldn't have to go back and change the color.

9. Warn of locked and hidden items when saving or selecting all and trying to move the selection.

   Receive a warning if trying to save a file that has hidden objects. Warn when selecting all and then trying to move selection that elements are locked.

    Please allow "ACTIONS" menu to record the SCALE in the EXPORT SCREENS dialog for Artboards. I'd love to be able to record ALL the frequent filetypes and associated sizes for each asset and deliver an ACTION to my entire TEAM that makes this efficient for our everyday usage.

13. ファイルをテンプレートとして保存する際の改善を求めます

    (Illustrator)ファイルをテンプレートとして保存するときに、アプリケーションフォルダ内のテンプレートフォルダにイラストレーター上から直接保存することが出来ないのは承知していますが、他の保存場所に保存しなければいけないのは一手間かかります。
    可能でしたら、デフォルトの「テンプレート」フォルダから直接、読み書き(保存も含む)出来ると、やはり助かりますので、是非対応してくださいますよう、要望を出しておきます。

14. Document Recovery Panel

    Crash Recovery or document recovery is a life saver during unexpected crashes or Force quits of Illustrator sessions. However it becomes a nightmare, when it forces to recover documents from an old session and take ages to recover those document.

    A simple panel similar to MS Office will be really helpful for me to make a choice of what i want to recover and what to throw away before working..

    Its not always I need to use the old opened documents which I was not editing/ creating but just viewing as reference.

    Also its not always I want to waste time opening huge files all at once in form of recovery from some one others failed session before.

    A non-blocking experience to choose what I need is must needed is this modern era. Specially when other applications in this world have already solved this problem.

15. More options to adjust UI scaling

    Yesterday I downloaded Illustrator (26.0.2) for the first time. But the small User Interface stops me from using the product. The text is so tiny, especially in Properties and Layers panels. For me the possibility of a larger text is important. If there is no option for enlarging, I stop using the product. But I really want to use Illustrator and to create beautiful things.

    I tried to fix the issue with Edit > Preferences > User Interface < Adjust the UI Scaling slider. But the changes are insignificant on the highest possible value. I think the UI Scaling slider is a little bit shorter than the slider from previous versions.

    It will be great if the product becomes more accessible in the future!

17. Shift + click on menu items (File, Edit, Object, etc) w/o closing menu after click

    Whenever I use the menu items (File, Edit, Object, Text, Select, Effects, View, etc) sometimes you go into a submenu, and select one option, e.g:
    1. Go to View Menu
    2. Select Perspective Grid sub-menu
    3. Select Hide guides
    4. Go to View Menu (again)
    5. Select the Perspective Grid sub-menu (again)
    6. Find and click my option (eg. "Snap to guides")

    Now if I could for example "shift+click" to keep the menus open after the click:
    1. Go to View Menu
    2. Select Perspective Grid sub-menu
    3. Shift+click "hide guides"
    4. Click "snap to grid" (without shift when I don't need it open anymore)

    It gets shorter, more efficient, and sometimes menus content is hard to memorize, so having the option to keep it open would make it quicker too.

18. Leerzeichen beim Wörter editieren nicht antasten!

    Wenn man ein Wort in einem Satz auswählt um es zu ändern, wird das Leerzeichen danach auch ausgewählt. Wenn ich nun das neue Wort schreibe, wird das Leerzeichen entfernt! Man muss dann immer extra das Leerzeichen erneut eingeben! In vielen anderen Textprogrammen wird das Leerzeichen nicht angetastet (ob es nun ausgewählt wird oder nicht)!

20. Connect/weld/glue points to another point/path

    It whould help a lot if we can weld three or more ponits on illustrator and if a path can be welded on the middle of another line
