We request that function key conversion be re-enabled for Japanese input.
Due to the latest update release, the conversion shortcuts using function keys during Japanese input have become unavailable. Please restore them so they can be used again.
Conversion shortcut details:
F6 → Hiragana
F7 → Katakana
F8 → Half-width Roman characters
F9 → Full-width Roman characters
In Japan, conversion shortcuts using function keys are commonly used.
Previously, I could use those keys for Japanese input conversion without having to delete the corresponding Illustrator shortcut settings. However, in the latest version, even deleting the settings doesn't work, which is inconvenient.

Adobe Illustrator 2025でF6〜F10キー（IME変換ショートカット：F6＝ひらがな、F7＝全角カタカナ、F8＝半角カタカナ、F9＝全角英数、F10＝半角英数）が使えなくなったので使用できるようにして欲しい。
2024と他のアプリケーションではできます。 -

Latest version at time of posting: 2025 (29.5)
Since 2025 (29.3), a bug has been observed on the Mac version only.When typing in Japanese, it is common to change character types (e.g., full-width/half-width, hiragana/katakana) using the F-keys. However, starting with 29.3, pressing an F-key triggers Illustrator’s keyboard shortcuts (such as opening or closing panels) instead, making it impossible to switch character types as intended.
This issue disrupts a fundamental aspect of Japanese input and significantly hinders workflow efficiency. We kindly request prompt investigation and resolution.

Illustrator 2025（29.3）以降、Mac版でのみ次のような不具合が確認されています。
日本語入力では、文字種（全角・半角、ひらがな・カタカナなど）をFキーで変換しながら入力することが一般的です。しかし、29.3 以降では、Fキーを押すとIllustratorのキーボードショートカット（パネルの開閉など）が優先して反応してしまい、文字種の変換ができなくなっています。
この問題は、日本語入力の基本的な操作に支障をきたすものであり、作業効率にも深刻な影響を及ぼします。早急なご対応を希望します。

件名：Mac版 Illustrator 29.4 にて ファンクションキーによるテキスト入力変換が機能しない問題について
お世話になっております。
Illustrator 29.4 にアップデートして以降、以下の不具合が発生しております。【環境】
OS：macOS（Intel／Apple Silicon どちらでも再現）
Illustrator：バージョン 29.4
キーボード：Windows配列（Karabiner-Elementsにて日本語配列に割り当て済）
【現象】
Illustrator内で日本語を入力している最中に、F7キーを押してもカタカナに変換されません。
F6のひらがなやF8のアルファベット入力に関しても同じくです。
これはmacOSの日本語入力機能（ことえり等）において本来対応している標準動作ですが、Illustrator 29.4では動作しなくなっております。他のアプリ（メモ帳、Photoshop、Safariなど）では正常にF7でカタカナ変換（その他のFキーも同様）が行えるため、Illustrator 29.4特有の現象であると考えられます。
【補足】
・Illustrator内でF7（その他Fキー）に割り当てられていたショートカットは解除済みです
・KarabinerでF7の動作を japanese_katakana に変更しても無反応です
・前バージョン（29.3など）ではこの問題は発生しておりませんでした【要望】
日本語入力中のファンクションキーによるテキスト入力変換が、他のアプリと同様に正しく動作するようご対応いただけますと幸いです。どうぞよろしくお願いいたします。
