    Can we please have the option of a free version for life even if that means getting limited features only?

  2. Allow objects to have the same set of properties of After Effects

    Many animators prefer to rebuild geometrical shapes made on Ai on AE because it allows full access to the properties. But if AI incorporate the same set of properties from AE, it will be solved.

  3. the touch gestures controls need and option to mirror the touch gestures for photoshop

    Touch gestures in illustrator just feel terrible compared to the touch gestures in photoshop. I paint a lot in photoshop and it's never been an issue to pan zoom rotate ect, but every time I switch over to illustrator it just feels buggy. Half the time i try to pan it will either right click, or move an object i didn't want to select, and it only lets you do one action per touch when i can pan and zoom simultaneously in photoshop. plus the 2 finger double tap to reset canvas view seems to be missing from illustator as…

  4. Open DXF or DWG and maintain layers, including X-ref layers

    The last version with this functionality was 25. It is critical to my team's workflow. Please bring it back.

  5. ファイルをテンプレートとして保存する際の改善を求めます

    (Illustrator)ファイルをテンプレートとして保存するときに、アプリケーションフォルダ内のテンプレートフォルダにイラストレーター上から直接保存することが出来ないのは承知していますが、他の保存場所に保存しなければいけないのは一手間かかります。
    可能でしたら、デフォルトの「テンプレート」フォルダから直接、読み書き(保存も含む)出来ると、やはり助かりますので、是非対応してくださいますよう、要望を出しておきます。

  6. Search / Filter option in Find/Replace Font dialog

    Here is my problem. On InDesign when you do "Find/Replace font" you can select the missing font and then you can SEARCH and then replace the font. In Illustrator, the same method exists. BUT you cannot SEARCH... Why? Did I miss something?? Do I really have to scroll through the 4000 fonts to get to the one I want?
    Could we have the same panel on Illustrator as in InDesign?

  7. Ability to enlarge thumbnails in PLACE dialog box.

    When I invoke the PLACE command, I have not found a way to control the size of thumbnails shown and can't find what I need. I often have 30 jpgs and at the size they are I literally cannot see them well enough to find the one I want to place. Am I missing something?

  8. Shift + click on menu items (File, Edit, Object, etc) w/o closing menu after click

    Whenever I use the menu items (File, Edit, Object, Text, Select, Effects, View, etc) sometimes you go into a submenu, and select one option, e.g:
    1. Go to View Menu
    2. Select Perspective Grid sub-menu
    3. Select Hide guides
    4. Go to View Menu (again)
    5. Select the Perspective Grid sub-menu (again)
    6. Find and click my option (eg. "Snap to guides")

    Now if I could for example "shift+click" to keep the menus open after the click:
    1. Go to View Menu
    2. Select Perspective Grid sub-menu
    3. Shift+click "hide guides"
    4. Click "snap to grid" (without shift when I…

  9. Leerzeichen beim Wörter editieren nicht antasten!

    Wenn man ein Wort in einem Satz auswählt um es zu ändern, wird das Leerzeichen danach auch ausgewählt. Wenn ich nun das neue Wort schreibe, wird das Leerzeichen entfernt! Man muss dann immer extra das Leerzeichen erneut eingeben! In vielen anderen Textprogrammen wird das Leerzeichen nicht angetastet (ob es nun ausgewählt wird oder nicht)!

  10. Embedding Linked Illustrator content should embed the native content instead of the PDF version.

    When you place a Linked Illustrator object (from a file or from a CC Library) and later decide to Embed it, you actually embed the PDF content of the linked file. This results in many groups, clipping masks, reduced editability (no Appearance effects, Symbols, Brushes) and loss of layers.
    The optimal editable way would be to embed the native objects instead of the PDF version, similar to Copy and Paste with the Paste Remembers Layers option turned on.

  11. Print multiple artboards on one page (print only what's on the artboards, "ignore artboards" isn't the solution)

    I think it'd be nice to be able to print only what's on multiple artboards onto one page. Right now the only option is to "ignore artboards", but that will print everything within the file, which doesn't work. The workaround is to save as a .pdf then print everything on one page from there, but this really shouldn't need a workaround, it should be an option within the print dialog.

  12. "Draw In Front" button

    We have a "Draw Behind" button that adds objects immediately behind the current selected object in the Layers panel.
    However, we need a "Draw in Front" button that adds immediately on top of selected objects.
    The "Draw Normal" adds objects to the very top position in the Layer.

    The attached graphic was created as follows:
    1. Magenta rectangle.
    2. Cyan rectangle.
    3. Select Magenta rectangle
    4. Change to "Draw Behind" mode .
    5. Yellow rectangle.
    6. Select Magenta rectangle.
    7. Change to "Draw Normal".
    8. Black rectangle.

  13. Adding an mascot assistant

    As the Photoshop has a banana, we want mascot assistant, like the Microsoft clippy. It would work like this: when you are idle in the illustrator with new blank document it would pop up suggesting random design prompts like: "hey why won't you design the logo for the fish food' or "make a brand for the fruit vendor'

  14. Adding gizmo feature in the 3d options

    It would be nice if the scale, move, rotate gizmo would be added as an option. As we have in dimension. I found that it is more user friendly than the existing panel.

  15. Link artboard from a file in a CC Library.

    There should be a way to link an artboard from a file in a CC Library as you can do when linking from a local file.

  16. Collapse panels menu item/keyboard shortcut

    The ability to set a keyboard shortcut to collapse all panels would be really helpful and slick. I find myself leaving them open for expedience only to find the open panel is in the way, visually, later on. For those who set up their workspace differently they can just ignore it or disable the keyboard shortcut.

  17. Paintbrush tool needs default brush setting

    Many folks run into an issue with the paintbrush tool where when trying to use it, we get a prohibited symbol with no explanation. First, I recommend troubleshooting tips for this situation, such as: "choose a brush." Simply having a default brush automatically selected would also help avoid frustration. Thanks!

    Hola! Les escribo ya que no puedo usar la herramienta estilizar de efectos, ya que no me permite usar sombras paralelas. He intentado usar la ayuda de ilustrator y aún así no se aplica a la imagen luego de terminar.

  19. Better implementation of Actions

    Do a better implementation of Actions. More like Photoshop.

    Some of the menu itens are not recorded in Actions, and others even with the Insert Menu item, still won't record the custom settings of it, and everytime you play that action, it will bring default values to it and open context menu to you to reenter parameters.
    This must be implemented correctly, direclty with the record and not that patch "Insert Menu Item" option that exist today.

  20. Allow to use the same Photoshop Import Option to all selected PSD files when embedding links

    Sometimes I work with files that have a lot links and when I send a file to factory I have to embed those links which can take what feels like forever! If there was a a button to use the same setting when embedding these it would save so much time.
