Remove round corner minimum angle limit
Please allow for round corner angle threshold control via Preferences. The very common issue I have all the time is being unable to round corners with angles smaller than some hardcoded threshold.
Not a big issue rally on simple trivial geometry where you can workaround by manually constructing the round corner. But in my field I have to constantly deal with large complex paths needing all corners rounded regardless of angle.

Fix Variables panel scrolling to bottom when making changes
When i'm working with the variables panel, the variables panel is scrolling to the bottom of the list, every time i select a layer in the layer panel or when i link the variable to the layer. Because of this, i have to scroll back to where i was before every time i make a change. I have between 100 and 200 variables in my project, so this make the work time twice as long as it should be.
Can you please make it so that it remember the position and doesn't scroll to the bottom every time.

Make varibles column resizeable in variables panel
In the Variables panel you have two columns, "Variables" and "Objects". The column width is locked so you can't resize the width to match the length of the variables. This make it difficult to use when you have longer variables and can't see the full name of the variable. I have a lot of variables with the same name, but with an incrementing number at the end of the name. It would make it way easier to work, if i could see what variable i'm working on.

Show only existing separations
In the palette separation preview, display only colors that are actually present in the image. If the image does not contain process colors (CMYK) or one of them, it will be excluded from the list.

Hitting Tab To Rename A Layer Targets That Layer
Thanks for implementing the ability to move up and down when renaming layers!
Unfortunately, the function has limited applicability for me, because unless I can determine what the layer is, from the tiny layer thumbnail, I don't actually know what to name the layer.
Consider a geometric character design. Perhaps the ears are circles; the eye whites are circles; the pupils are circles; the glasses are circles, the knees and elbows are circles; the hair is a bunch of circles etc etc etc.

Staggering Saves
I would like to be able to run multiple saves on a file without waiting for the first save to finish. For example while it is saving the .ai file I would like to also save a PDF immediately after. The software in the background wouldn't halt me interrupting my workflow but instead hold the second save in the background and run it once the first save finished. Prior to CC this was something I did a lot and competitors software as well as your own media encoder for Video apps have this function.

Missing link visual preference option
Allow an option in preferences for missing links to be view or show an empty image box. The visual image can be an issue with some industries dealing with a variety of clients and file volume.

Please a "Center to page" in the MENU BAR. And...
Centering objects to page requires several steps... Many times in design, one needs to center an object to the page. by having that action in menu bar it can be done very quickly and efficiently. It can also be in the RIGHT click drop menu.

Better grid settings
Inkscape 1.1 has great grid management.
It's embedded with the document: because grid needs vary a lot from a document from another
It's accessible on the lateral panel, while on AI you need to enter the general settings; all while snapping is in the view menu (go figure...)
There a two types of grid.
You can set several grids.
On this lateral panel, and for each grid, you can easily define there enable , visible and snapping status. (no menu spelunking)

Launch Illustrator with the same opened documents tabs from closing
I would add this option that would basically skip the home screen and launch straight into the last open documents from the last time I closed the app.
This is very convenient instead of clicking through each document from the home screen.I guess this could also just become the main behaviour for closing Ai so if you instead want to get rid of all the open tabs you could right click on one and click "close all tabs"

アプリケーションフレームをOFFにした状態でドキュメントの新規作成をすると、ドキュメントウィンドウが全画面で配置され、左右のツールパネルの下に潜り込んで表示されます。
毎回ドキュメント全体を表示させるのに、ドキュメントウィンドウをドラッグしてサイズを小さくし、パネルとの重なりをなくすひと手間が入ります。
※ツールパネルはフロート状態ではなく固定しています。Photoshopのように（またはイラレでアプリケーションフレームを使用した時と同じように）ツールバーやパネルに重ならないようにドキュメントウィンドウを表示する仕様にはならないでしょうか。

Ability to rotate an image 90 degrees when exported for screens
Having the ability to rotate an image 90 degrees when exported for screens would save a step when saving some art for the web.
Some artwork with text is saved built so the type is horizontal for ease of typing/reading. Current exports require the art to be built and then rotated 90 degrees in Photoshop.

When Gradient Tool is active, make holding Alt switch to Eyedropper tool
If we hold Alt when Gradient tool is active and there is a stop selected, we can click with Alt in Swatches to apply it to the stop (although no cursor feedback or hint signals it can be done). Besides this function, Alt+click is used for nothing...
Use it to temporarily switch to the Eyedropper tool. This is a standard approach in many apps, it’s fast to learn, and just convenient.

Brush Needs Size - Inexcusable Design Flaw
It is absolutely unacceptable that the brush tool does not have a size setting.
It is straightforward to change the path size after drawing, it should be straightforward to set what path size is drawn.
This is not a feature request. This is a BASIC CORE APPLICATION FAILURE. Whoever neglected to add size should be fired and prevented from ever designing an application again.

Release Monitor mapping for non wacom tablets using Illustrator
Illustrator does not work with multiple monitors on non-wacom tablet devices.

Allow sub-groups to be seen when re-linking to CC Library for quicker workflow
Sub-groups in libraries are super helpful for locating an asset quickly, but when you're re-linking an asset to the CC Library the Sub-Groups disappear and you have to scroll through hundreds of images across all brands and categories hoping to find the right image.

Automatisches RESET oder Button für die Textformatierung bei Illustrator und InDesign
Diese Funktion fehlt. Wenn ich viel schreibe oder Text einfüge, dann ist es mühsam, dass ich nicht die Wahl habe was bei einem neuen Textfeld bzw. neu eingefügten Text passieren soll: Letzte Formatierung beibehalten (aktuell) oder Reset zu einer Standard-Formatierung. Vielleicht reicht auch ein "RESET Textformatierung"-Button in der Menüleiste.
Alternativ wäre es mir recht, wenn z.B. einfach nur die Funktion geändert würde bei Klick auf Formatierungsoptionen. Beispiel "Text unterstrichen". Wenn kein Text ausgewählt ist, dann ist "Text unterstrichen" dauerhaft an, wenn Text vorher markiert wurde, dann wird nur der ausgewählte Text unterstrichen und alle folgende Texte sind "normal", d.h. man…

Color Picker digits round up
Hi, I like Illustrator for many reasons, but I find one little thing is annoying. So often I need to prepare the design files for my printer. And because the color picker doesn't have the feature of auto rounding up the digits, the color I used always has decimals, instead of a rounded up number in CMYK mode. Content Credentials (Beta) arriving for Illustrator ... and general concerns about Content Provenance / Attribution
As Adobe are a leading player in the CAI initiative, are they rolling out 'Content Credentials' functionality to the other creation tools in the suite?
Also - related to this - why do admin staff on here ask people to upload .AI files as bug fix evidence without conversations about risks of jeopardising Provenance and Attribution?1 vote
