Shortcuts stop working
Sometimes my shortcuts on the keyboard just stops working, so I can't press cmd+d to duplicate, or copy etc, while I'm able to press Spacebar to move around.
they just deactivate by themselves, while other's continue to work. To resolve this, I have to restart the program every time, even after short periods of working on the current project.
The current project isn't even graphic intensive, but I get this issue. This has happened before a few times.

Some shortcut keys in Adobe Illustrator, most notably Command+D (Transform Again), occasionally stop working during active use of the software. Other shortcuts also fail intermittently.This issue is temporarily resolved by restarting Illustrator, but the problem reappears after extended usage.
Steps to Reproduce :
1 Open Adobe Illustrator and begin working on a project.
2 Use shortcut keys frequently (including Command+D).
3 After some time, shortcut keys (mainly Command+D) stop responding.
4 Attempting the same action via the menu still works.
5 Restarting Illustrator restores shortcut functionality.
Expected Behaviour :
Shortcut keys should remain functional throughout the Illustrator session without requiring a restart.
Actual Behaviour :
Shortcut keys stop functioning after some time. Command+D is most affected, along with other object arrange related shortcuts.
Temporary Workaround:
Restarting Illustrator restores normal shortcut functionality, but this disrupts workflow.

Occasionally while I'm in Illustrator, my keyboard shortcuts will randomly stop working for roughly 30 seconds at a time. The issue resolves without me having to restart, but it happens a couple times a day usually. I have custom shortcuts but it also happens for defaults (like cmd + s for saving). I thought it was lag at first, but I'm able to use the same commands from the drop down menus without issue.
I'm running macOS Mojave 10.14.6 with Illustrator 25.4.4, and I have several Esko plug-ins for work.

Lot of the basic shortcuts are not working here either, i.e. SAVE, REPEAT, etc. They stopped working a couple of versions ago.
I am now on Illustrator 22.01, 64-bit, Windows 10, 64-bit with the latest Fall update -- I am still having the same issues.
This is extremely frustrating!

The same happens to me too. I bought a fresh new iMac 27" last week and also bought the latest version of Adobe AI. Suddenly in AI som shortcuts won't work: its related to space(move around) and zoom in and out. I have to restart the iMac to solve this. To only restart the program is not enough here.
