"Open" button not responding first time
After the recent update, with the new layout of the home screen, I have to click the "Open..." button two or three times before it opens the file explorer window. It acts like it is being clicked, but then nothing happens.

i'm having the same problem with a lot of the menus. character and paragraph pop ups take about 3 clicks before they open

It's indeed a situation I've come across this boot-up behaviour as well ! With the application panel activated (on the Mac) your file is almost unaccessible by the jungle in the Startup, Home screen, or whatever you want to call it. Clicking the Ai icon and arrow in the left corner or a Recent thumbnail don't work – the home screen just stays in view. Only after switching the app panel off/on, or rearranging windows by the menu command, or a anything else that might kick the windows manager to behave properly, the active window flips in view.
