Sellection tool won't let me resize shapes

I installed the new version of illustrator and since that I can´t resize shapes, text boxes, basically everything...
I've alredy tried to uninstall and reinstall and I can´t still resize shapes
can anybody help?

    No Idea why it isn't showing by default.

    go to Menu View > Show Bounding Box
