Double clicking the top bar used to expand the AI window to fit screen. No longer works on Mac AI 2019

It looks like this bug first showed up in 2018 but I'm experiencing it for the first time now. I can't do anything in my mac settings or Illustrator settings to get it to work. It works for other applications including Adobe XD but not for Illustrator and photoshop. Hope it gets resolved in the next update.

Double tapping the chrome on top of a window should expand window to fit screen as default in Macos (Zoom window command). This used to work for all Adobe software but now there is no easy way to make windows utilize all available screen reals estate (without going into full screen where other app’s windows are not available.
