Hide File Extension on Export

It's very annoying that when exporting to .jpg, etc. the hide file extension box is automatically checked. This is awful. Why?!?

    Can anybody here show me a screenshot of the 'extension box being automatically checked', please? What is this box? I’m on Windows, and I have no idea what this box is. Perhaps it’s something only Macs have?

    Please fix this! Still a bug… Hide extension is automatically checked. You unchceck it and next time it doesn't remember and is checked again. Poor UI.

    export for web, hide extension box stays checked each at export
    it has never been like that.

    Any update to this? I uncheck the Hide Extension and it doesn't remember it! Defaults to HIDING EXTENSION! Please fix ASAP!

    Agree too. This needs to be same as whatever you last chose. Please fix!

    Yep I get same (error) issue. Bloody annoying! The behavious should be that it remembers your last selection and not default to be always on!

    Fix this Adobe!
