Objects behind clipping mask cannot move outside of drawing area
What is the point in a clipping mask if the objects behind it cannot fall off the drawing area? May as well use Microsoft Paint to be honest

Wow, what a strange thing. Not sure I can reproduce it now.
Do you still experience this? Can you record a video, or/and provide a file to test?
