Adobe Illustrator 23.0.1 does not open files while running.
The Issue:
Adobe Illustrator won't open files ( .ai .eps , etc ) when Illustrator is running.
Won't open files from Bridge, or explorer by double clicking or right click-> open with.
Won't open files that are downloaded, by clicking on them,
Won't open files from Internet Explorer with option: Open
Illustrator Does open files when the program is not running.
I did not install any additional plugins.
Adobe Illustrator version:
CC 23.0.1 ( Windows)
Creative Cloud App Version:
4.7.0.400
i've checked files association in Win10, and in Adobe Bridge, reinstalled the app, updated, resetarted my computer.

FIX I've installed older version 23.0.0, and files open correctly, please fix it in next updates.

I misspoke when I said it would open with context menu. That's not working now either, although I will swear under oath it did when I posted that (LOL). I really need to be able to open from Bridge, where I can see which file of a directory full of similarly named items I am opening.

I have observed that if you right-click on the item while in Bridge, and then choose 'Open with .... Illustrator' from the context menu, it will open it in Illustrator even if Illustrator is running. However, double-click while in Bridge does NOT work.

I'm having this issue with Bridge and .ai files: if Illustrator is open, it won't open them; if it's not open, it will start Illustrator and open the file.
