Can't add gradients to fonts without outlining them first - used to be able to
Also, would love to put the stroke on the outside or inside of font before outlining - never been able to do that
I use Windows 10 home

ok, i take it back... you CAN do it... after many many many tries... i managed to get the cursor in JUST the right starting place.

i don't remember being able to do that before... but another issue now for sure is that when you DO outline the font, there seems to be no way to apply the gradient across the entire group as a single gradient... every letter is treated as one... USED to be able to click & drag the gradient slider across the whole group as a single object. rgh.
