'could not complete package' message in Illustrator CC 2019
Trying to package an illustrator file is met with 'could not complete package' message. No further explanation is provided. This is an inconsistent error, it seems more common when the file contains .eps links.

It's due to a font conflict. Maybe, a non paid for font being used? I deleted all of my fonts then the package worked!

I use Google Drive File Stream too and I think that was the issue. I saved the package to my desktop and it worked. Must have been that I was saving it to a syncing folder, even when I paused syncing.

I have the same problem. Can't package file and after making a new file & trying to correct the artboard naming, the problem still appears. Tried several times but nothing changed. Can Adobe give us some answer on how to deal with this?

I figured out why I was having the error--it was because of Google Drive.
I use Google Drive File Stream and I believe this error is caused because Google is getting angry that Adobe is trying to play in its sandbox. -

Actually, I had that error when I had created outlines for my type, then I tried again to package without outlines, and my project was successful packaged.

No followup at all on this? Cryptic vague errors/warnings are annoying!
