Missing lines in Metafile import

Importing Windows metafiles gives wrong results, as shown in the example emf attached (puzzle.png shows correct result when Paint opens the file, Illustrator.png shows wrong result in Illustrator).

I am using version below on Windows 10, but it is not a new or specific issue I think:

    Importing Windows metafiles gives wrong results, as shown in the example attached (puzzle.png shows correct result when Paint opens the file, Illustrator.png shows wrong result in Illustrator). Unfortunately this form won't let me attach the original .emf file to replicate the issue.

    I am using version below on Windows 10, but it is not a new or specific issue I think:
