Illustrator 2020 Character Styles Not in English
For some reason in the "Character Styles" window, it says [Estilo de caractere normal] instead of [Normal character style] My language is set to English. I think this is a glitch?

Not sure if you recall how you got this doc.... but perhaps this problem still plagues you?
The name of the style seems to be taken from the document, and stays this way. Changing the UI language doesn’t really affect it... Since it’s a default name, I think it should be consistent, you are right. There is a similar problem with some effects’ names in Appearance — I regularly get Japanese files, and some of these names I see are in Japanese (and rendered using a wrong encoding).
