CMYK Hex Code Color Change
Windows 10 Pro 18362.719 / Adobe Illustrator 24.0.1. (64bit)
I downloaded and opened a CMYK/Vector file I received through Google Drive, and a specific color on the file was slightly brighter than the color that is supposed to be.
I tried to replace the specific graphic with the original color by typing the hex code manually, but it also changed to the brighter color.
I heard it has been a common issue that has been around, but is there any way to keep the color?

CMYK colors are not defined in HEX. If you type HEX (RGB) color in CMYK Illustrator document, your HEX (aka RGB) color is immediately transformed to CMYK color based on your color management settings. You get different colors with different color profiles.
