I have been working on a project on illustrator and after a few days of working on it I open the file to see this screen filled with gray and black lines. None of the options on the top are visible and all the tools and properties windows are missing.

Windows 10 Pro - Illustrator 24.1.2

I tried opening the file from the illustrator menu, from file explorer and tried creating a new .ai file as well.

I expected to resume working on my project.

The screen was filled with black grey and white lines and I couldn't find any settings, properties or tools windows.
