Not enough memory (RAM), cant apply 3D effect

Every time I open a particular Illustrator file, it says I don’t have enough memory (RAM), and it doesn't respond when I try to apply 3D effect. Please advise.

    It was working fine but suddenly it quits unexpectedly, also when I am trying to apply 3D effect it says "Not Enough RAM"

    Could you please help?
