Ui disappeared after update

After the most recent update, it looks like most of the ui has disappeared. Switching to EssentiaIs didn't fix it. I can still add windows (see attached)

    same issue happened to me. I went to View > Screen Mode > and check 'Normal Screen Mode'.
    I had 'Full screen with menu bar mode' checked so that's why I had this issue.

    This is happening on my computer as well, across multiple versions since August 2020.
    Windows 10 Pro
    Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2820QM CPU @ 2.30GHz 2.30 GHz
    8 GB RAM
    NVidia GeForce GT 555M

    I suspect this is because my graphics card is too old to deal with certain new features that were implemented (had an issue with Photoshop also, but was able to find a workaround by disabling something). Is there a way to revert to a version that my graphics card CAN support?
