Image trace does not allow to use your own colour palette
Under advanced image trace, now when you use the dropdown palette and select 'Document library' and then select your own limited colour theme in the dropdown below, it makes no difference at all (even though it takes time re-rendering the image).
This used to work really effectively, but I've had these issues for some time.
I'm on the latest version of Illustartor 2020 (ver 24.2.3)
I've attached a screengrab so you can see the colours are not being used!

Illustrator 2020 + 2021Live Trace in color using specific colors from the Swatch panel doesn't work anymore since 2020. In 2019, it was working fine.
You can see in this video (in French) that it used to work in 2019: youtu.be/POITPx0My-w?t=1601

2. Trying to use colors from my own document library
3. Selected a theme of 5 colors from my document library
4. Image trace ignores my selection, and uses colours from imageThis was reported as broken for CC 2020, having worked in previous versions. And it's still broken! If you can't be bothered to fix the issue, then remove the option, at least we'd know where we stand!

When trying to restrict Image Trace to a set group of swatches, it will instead use multiple shades of those swatches. For example, in a trace I just attempted, I set the mode to color, the palette to Document Library, and choose a color group of 3 swatches. I expected the end result to use only those 3 colors, however, it used 14. All of them seem to be shades of the original 3 swatches. The attached image shows the Image Trace window with the settings I used and the resulting number of colors at the bottom.
This has been a problem for a little while now, so unfortunately I can't say what version of CC started the problem. I had thought it was a change in how Image Trace works, but other people tell me that it still works correctly for them.
