Brush strokes get displaced from their paths in large canvas documents
I found a bug that affects the placement of stroke art in relation to its stroke path. When creating a document that needs a canvas that's larger than 227" it results in paths being offset from their original path without any additional effects. When creating a document that has a 227" canvas the stroke art is correctly aligned to their path.

Yes, +1 for this error while using charcoal brush.
Basic brushes are fine. -

Same issue today. Worked with customer support and I believe it is entirely due to the artboard size.

Just experienced this bug for the first time today, very annoying. So it obviously hasn't been fixed yet.

Adobe illustrator team:
The problem might be related to the size of the artboard or the number of pages in the file, because if i copy the same exact vector into a new file with only one page, then the same brush path IS aligned to its actual path. See here in the attached.

Brush appear displaced from its actual path (this brush doesn't have an ofset).
I found something related to this issue, here:
graphicdesignforum.com/t/path-isnt-aligned-to-path-adobe-illustrator/15194/3And here is an idea for creative cloud:
Given that new software releases often have bugs that previous versions didn't have, there should be always an option to download some previous software releases of a given program. Right now you can only download the latest version of each program. Thanks

Reproducible in Illustrator 25.0.1 and 24.3, Windows 10.
In Large Canvas documents, art brushes appear offset from the path they are applied to. The effect is more pronounced with larger stroke sizes and larger brush objects.
1. Create a large canvas document (an artboard with at least one dimension larger than 16383 points)
2. Create an art brush, or use one from a library.
3. Draw a path and apply the art brush.
4. The art brush is offset from the path by an amount that increases as stroke size is increased.Expected result: in normal (sub-16383 pt) documents, the art brush is centred on the path.

I'm using Ai 25.0 on a mac with Catalina 10.15.7.
When applying the brush definition Charcoal Thin to a path the resulting effect is offset from the original path. The drawing doesn't line up.
If I open an Ai file created using the previous (or earlier) versions of Ai, with the same brush effect used on a path the path is fine (not offset). If I then copy the drawing into the new file the path will become offset again!
I have uninstalled Ai, and reinstalled and cleared all preferences and this has made no difference. Any ideas? -
