Can't see the fint size in the type panel
Hi, I work in publishing so I need to see the font size in the top bar but all I can see in illustrator 2020 is the stroke size when I choose the T tool. When I watch tutorials I can see they have the type bar across the top but all I have is the character window which is very cumbersome when I need to constantly change the font size. Can you tell me how I can see that type bar? Is it something simple because I just can't figure out how?

May be the width of your screen is insufficient to display all the elements of the Control bar... Try to click the rightmost button there (three 'list' lines) and tick off options you don't need in the drop-down menu. Pleas report if it helps.
