Can't open my most recent aic file
Using windows 10. I created the file on v25.0 of illustrator and yesterday updated to v25.01 and the file continued to work fine and my work was saved.
Today I am unable to open that one file from my cloud documents. On the illustrator home page if I click on the file preview nothing happens, whereas with every other document clicking on the preview opens the document. I have tried opening it from my cloud storage webpage but it just opens the home page of the desktop app. It also says there's an error when I try to download the file from there. I've tried starting a new file and then clicking File > Open recent files> and that way I get a message saying: Error opening ""
I've also tried uninstalling v25.01 and the error still occurs.

Hey, I had this problem. No idea why it occurred, but I was able to fix it by going into my cloud storage (Log in to your Adobe account, go to your files) and then creating a copy of the affected file (click the three dots, select Copy). After that, I was able to open the copy just fine.

Is there a solution to this problem? I'm a high school graphic design teacher and one of my students is having a similar issue with his most recent project. He's on a personal Mac laptop using the CC version of Illustrator. His other projects will open just fine except for the newest one. Restarting the program and restarting his computer doesn't help.

I'm on a 2016 Mac Book Pro using Adobe Illustrator 2021. I had a file open 10 minutes ago and was working on it. I saved and closed. I saw I had one more thing to fix and tried to open the file again. All I get is a gray error box that says Error opening "". All my other .aic files are fine. I'm really worried my file got corrupted somehow and is just lost.
