I can't use illustrator on Mac, it's too slow it doesn't make me move object...

    my illustrator is very slow and hard for me to complete tasks. i need a fix for this asap

    I am on a new machine - an M1 Max MacBook Pro - and Illustrator is dumb slow.
    Can you work on improving performance instead of adding new features for a bit?
