Random text disappearing from box

Adobe Illustrator 25.3.1
When I open some of my ai files the text inside a text box disappears. If I try to create a new text box to replace that text it keeps disappearing. This only happened to me after updating to Big Sur. It's extremely frustrating as I haven't found a way to work around it.
First photo is how it appears when I look at a preview of the ai file before opening, second photo is what it looks like when I open the file. (Don't mind the black lines, I wanted to keep that info private)

There is nothing to investigate without a test file, sadly...

My text is disappearing. Never happened before until now. I try to select black text, but it goes away or turns white. Just gone.
SOLVED (maybe). Damn this is horrible! This was Lora font. But the way Adobe Fonts works is HORRRRRRRRIBLE! When I turned the font off and then back on, it worked. Fix the gosh darn fonts system. It's always turning fonts off which is an insane nightmare!

Same issue here. Text on my Illustrator canvas keeps randomly disappearing. Resetting the graphics driver did not help.

I have the same problem, text keeps disappearing from canvas. Sometimes I see it on canvas but not in export preview. Tried to reset my graphics driver, but that did not help. Only happens in Illustrator. Must say, of all the CC apps, Illustrator is the one that is the most buggy of them all. They need to fix this software badly.
