need to fix control handles
Handles have been broken for about 10 years now, time to fix them.
Clicking on corner tool handle, making stuff rotate, trying to stretch one direction, then it stretching diagonally.
Things like that should not be going wrong in software as old as illustrator.

Definitely.
There’s a plugin, PathScribe, from AstuteGraphics, that allows that and more, any imaginable operations for handles. At least some of its power should be available from the box.
