Text missing on .ai file when I preview it or bring it into Indesign
OS Catalina v. 10.15.7, Illustrator v. 25.4.1
Text is in the document (.ai file), but when I preview it or place it into InDesign it disappears. When I save it to a pdf from Illustrator it looks fine in preview, acrobat and InDesign. As a temporary fix I can place the pdf into Indesign, but that's not ideal.

I think it is something with this version of Catalina because used to have a different version on my laptop than my desktop and the problem would fix itself when I would use the lower version, but now they are both on the same version and so i can't fix it I like could before.

I confirm .ai document does get placed in InD without vertical lines of text.
Also, when I try to resave it, to the same .ai, the problem gets eliminated, it gets placed just fine... interesting. -
