3D Extrude doesn't treat a group as a group
I’ve got a logo I need to extrude, but Illustrator appears to be treating each object within the logo as having a separate instance of the 3D Extrude effect applied. You can see an example in the attached video – I add the effect and the preview is exactly what I’d expect, but when AI renders the effect, each object loses the perspective it has in the preview.

Max, I try to replicate this on my Windows machine, following exactly the steps you made, including shapes, their color, values you enter, places you click... so far it works fine for me :(
Does it happen every time you try to replicate it?
If you save the file and the reopen it — does the rendered effect stay?
If yes — can you please share the file here in comments, so the team can could dissect it?
