Can't ‘Place’ in Illustrator 2023, the window to select a document is almost completely invisible, so it’s impossible to select any documents to place.
The only way to place anything is by dragging it into illustrator from the file of origin...

It doesn’t matter if you use the shortcut cmd+shift+P or go to File > Place, both results in the same issue, which is very annoying and frustrating.
