Text gets reset to the default style when pasted (looses its formatting), on Mac
Team I am not able to copy paste a modified style for the text. Can you look at the issue. I am using IMac.

It looks very similar to this report then: https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447/suggestions/44253462
Please read it and try some things from comments. Let me know if nothing helps. -

Thanks.
I have enabled the "Paste text without Formatting" but it does not make any difference.
What ever method I use Command +C than Command +V or from the menu. It give the same results. All the formatting and sizes go away.
I am using Mackbook Pro with AI 27.3

Mahender, does not happen to me.
Please check the most obvious thing — do you have the 'Paste text without Formatting' option enabled in Preferences > Clipboard Handling, in 'When Pasting' block?
If it does not solve this, let’s try to investigate.
Is is 27.2 or the most recent 27.3?
What method of Paste do you use? A hotkey, the context menu, the top menu?
Does it differ if you paste it using the menu, Edit > Paste commands?
Does it differ if you paste this text into a newly created text?
Does it help to paste into the other document?
Does it matter if you grab a text form an older file? -

Suppose I write a word and fill color and change the font. If I copy this and paste it on the same artboard. It does not maintain the same color and font.
Attached is the example. How the above line is and how it result after copy paste.
