Strange symbol ('envelope' sign) appears at the end of pasted text
Why does the envelope sign appear when I copy text from somewhere else (like HEX color code copied or translation result text form Google Translate) and paste it into Illustrator?
Happens only on Windows it seems.

In the latest version of Illustrator we can press the hash number symbol in the Color panel (and Swatch Options dialog) to copy the code as text into buffer.
However, a strange symbol gets added to the end of the text when you directly paste it on the canvas.
It does not get pasted when you create a text object first. It does not get transferred to other apps, so I have no idea even what the character it is.

Enisio is right. The symbol appears only when pasted directly on canvas, and not in the existing object or a field.

I noticed something while testing. It happens when I paste the text directly. But when I open a text field and paste it into it, there is no problem. Strange problem. As in video. -
