AI 2023 no longer saving older as CS6 files that get recognized by other programs
Illustrator 2023 version 27.6.1 no longer saves a file as CS6 that works with RD Works, a program used for laser cutting and engraving. I know it is due to Illustrator 2023. When I imported a previous project created in Illustrator 2022 and saved it as a CS6 file, they imported perfectly into RD Works without any problems. RD Works has never been updated on my computer for three years. Attached is a CS6 that opens properly in Illustrator yet is not seen by RD Works.
I may have to uninstall Illustrator 2023 and go to an older version to complete my project. I don't want to do this, since I like some newer features.
Please fix this, and let me know another workaround.
Thank you.

Erik Johansson

Eric, can you please provide two copies of the same document: one saved from 27.6.1 and the other from the older version, so the team can investigate them. Please send them both at sharewithai@adobe.com and put the link to this report for tracking (http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447/suggestions/46807123).
Also — what do the developers of RD Works say? It’s up to them to be able to read .ai files in the end.
